Heh - at the time you posted this it was April 2 here in Australia.

Crap! I just wrote a lengthy reply, and then my browser crashed.
So, anyway, let me try again. A little more concise this time (or maybe not):
I'm not sure how much of a coordinated effort this can really be. I think yaroslav and me are the only active programmers around here, and we both use different programming languages, so that's not gonna work. I'm really only good for VB6.
Let me see, the first step will be continuing the hex-editing. Editing a few values, or only one particular part of a savegame (as all existing civ2 utilities do now) is all fine and dandy, but being able to create complete scenarios (read: scenario files) from scratch will need much more complete information. And that for FW, MGEv1.3 and ToTv1.1 (and possibly Classic/CiC too). This is something more of you can help with...
Of course, yaroslav and me come in again, because I believe we're the only ones with the latest hex-editing info, and I was supposed to be working on an update of the whole doc.
But after this, it's mostly just programming. A little feedback and beta-testing will of course come in handy, though.
I'd be glad to work on this (even if that means I end up doing all the work, with the rest of you cheering me on ). I can actually use a little structure and pressure to get off my lazy ass, but I only have limited time. If there's anything I need to work on, it's my graduation project (and that sure hasn't been going well the past few years!). But I could spare, I don't know, up to one day per week, to work on this (and all the other civ2 stuff I need to be doing as well, including CivSwap (almost done), SpriteGen and my website).
