The next city should be the bronze city and the when should be ASAP. It won't be very long until those barb warriors turn into barb spearmen and axemen and then we are royally ****ed so I would make that the priority over everything else. Also, any movement on the Inca power graph? They've had a lot of time since hooking up bronze plus we know they have archery while we don't.Originally posted by mzprox View PostWhat needs to be decided is where to build our next city and when.

Yes, I agree with Herc. We need to hook up the Copper ASAP, then we can build the BW stuff.
And I support faster libraries and getting Math sooner.
Then we can figure out where we want to take things...

I think a site near the copper next unless we reveal some another/other resource fairly soon.

Yes, first there, then in port Boreas too.Originally posted by Hercules View PostWhat do we plan our other workers to chop sooner, do you mean a library in Horse city/Istanbul/Byerley.
I finished the turn. after a long debate with myself i decided that losing the gold from the cottages wouldn't worth a one turn earlier library (this effects many thing btw, need to reconfigure worker moves, production etc.
What needs to be decided is where to build our next city and when.
plan is that Aurora start building a settler after library (next turn) but it will be slow build as we will have two scientist specialists (we may chop in a forest as well)
Capital would build an other worker after lib but also slow as it too will have two specialists. we could also switch these two, or build chariots first etc

the middle forest on the plain hill will be chopped into the library anyway, but changing the 2F/4gold tiles for 1F/2Hammer for several turns means losing lot's of gold. This kind of things btw no use to be put on vote. Once I have the time I will try out both and see which one gives the better result.

I too would support finishing Library, presumably by chopping. Which forest?

I suppose getting the library faster should be a priority but I'd like to hear what others think. Moving the warrior to between the two cities sounds sensible.

I moved the workers and warriors as suggested. I still did not finished the turn because thinking about the best way to develop the capital (choice between working on cottages or not but finishing library one turn earlier).
I moved the wounded warrior into the city and the one heading to apolyton I sent back towards Aurora (I suggest we leave him between the two cities and we can see where we need it.

I prefer the safest option: Dio to forest, Apollo to city. move the workers S.
