  • I am at work. I will be home in 3 hours, and I will play and pause for America.

    • Sooo...no change then.

All right, I posted a smiley there to show I was being sarcastic and funny, but it isn't appearing. Consider this notice that I was just trying to be funny (trying).

              • I will second the rule proposal that you are not allowed to send diplo-inquiries to nations in war

                • When I've joined I did not think this game would be so slow .

                  • @Arabia2, it's normally quite snappy, but there are some complicated war situations with people in different time zones, plus some other snags that are causing some lag. Also, summer time is usually a bit slower because of holidays. Things should pick up again at some point

Did either of you two unpause the game, or are you also at war and not able to log in?

                        • If it is OK with Azteca, I would like to humbly suggest we swap order in the turn. That will allow you and America to move together, and also, it will make it so that once I move both of you can go. Sort of like bloc movement. Obviously that means I can't attack you next turn (assuming the game is still paused).

I am off to work now, and will be home to play promptly in about 12 hours. If I can't play then, and I go to work without playing tommorow, then the game will get paused again leaving poor Americans with only 30 mins to play which is just flat out unfair

                            • Ok, please explain to me why, precisely, we're still not finished with this turn???

I suggest the following: declare a hiatus until we know that the main war participants are going to be able to play, then resume the game at that time. That way, we won't have to constantly check to see if the game has resumed or not. It's driving me nuts, and is likely to make me simply give the thing up as a lost cause.

                              • I can unpause now and the next 4 hours. Please let me know Ottoman player, by PM, when you're ready.
