So from what your posts say.

The guardians were your IG warrior.

They did nothing whilst your citys leaders were killed ? the order of britania ? A settler was killed ?

Then you killed the warrior ?

My people the northern borders have been secured with our brothers the Byzantines. I have sent Dresdan to explore the wild west; he has been given orders to find a suitable location for us to build our new outpost. From this outpost we will be able to secure, explore and guard the western lands. I am also proud to announce that we now have the skills and resources to produce new weapons of war. A metal was found no long ago in the hills around Chiel, which has given us the capabilities to produce stronger weapons. The first such weapon called a Battle Axe has been given to Dresdan for his dangerous journey. A report has come from the west that it is now possible to slay a wild beat just with one blow with an axe.

        All worship the holy mau!

As Egypt's warriors traveled through the land to broaden Egypt's frontiers, they came across wild and exceptionally large maus, who proved a worthy adversary in battle. As our warriors relaxed by the fire after a rewarding giant mau-roast marinated with spicy Faraoh's Fury sauce™, they decided that from hence on, the small mau at home must be honored for its docile nature and companionship, thinking that their peaceful smaller maus at home must be descendants from these great beasts, descendants who decided it was better to coexist with humans instead of attack them. Upon their return, they created a statue in honor of the mau, and they named it Bast.

We received further news from ‘Touch the Cloud’ on his journey of exploration. His smoke signals spoke of distant forests and of another sighting of the strange tipees on the mountain tops.

He also spoke of seeing herds of wild horses and of how he watched a black cougar family stalk the herd.

I have seen that in any great undertaking it is not enough for a man to depend simply upon himself.

In game wise I had lost a settler unit who was left undefended because the warrior unit I sent to protect it was 1 turn too late. Story wise my leaders, Order of Britannia, where with the settlers when they were killed and the Guardians did nothing to stop it. So I got a new leader, Alexander, who “killed” the guardians and took control. Game was I still have my warrior patrolling the Russian border; I’m not crazy enough to kill them. Story wise my nation is completely undefended with a young leader who has just taken over. Hope that helps you understand a little better.

A messenger ran from Korta's chambers south east toward the lands of the closest neighbor. Upon reaching the borders of the village, the messenger was escorted to the hut of Zorko.

"Zorko, Korta send you blessing and friendship. He want to set borders with you. No want war later. Korta claim all land west of mountain hut. You welcome to travel and maybe we trade with you some day. "

Meanwhile, back in the Mali motherland, a strange new rock was discovered. This rock as very dull when compared to the other rocks in the area and was dark red. The Korto demanded they rocks be harvested and studied. After many moons, the smart people found out the rocks could be melted. When poured on wood, it made the wood stronger. Korto declared that all hunting parties be equipped with weapons with liquid rock poured on them. This make hunting easier.

                          • Medina Founded

Our emissary to the civilization called Greece (not Geeks) finally returned with terms of a border agreement.

Our waiting citizens who had left the crowded city of Mecca settled down in a rich valley and honoured the agreement by being south of but not adjacent to the river. It was just in time as fierce pride of lions appeared over the hill and thought they had dinner.

Meanwhile Saladin has come out of hiding and decided on a course of action for the ever increasing numbers in Mecca. Details are sketchy right now as there is much banging and digging behind privacy walls.

Apparently he is much happier now knowing that the Greeks are speaking to us and they also share the desire to wear dresses. The wisemen of Arabia give him a wide berth when he gets in these moods and wears flimsy attire.
