Hang on, I'm going in to reset their password.
For clearity, this is how I do it:
1. I close civstats
2. I login as myself (#1 = to ensure my anonymous identity) (*cugh*)
3. I pause the game and logout
4. I kick Byzantium (b/c game = paused, AI won't take over, nothing changes at his side)
5. I claim byzantium and set a PW
6. while loading, I quit the login proces so I will never actually login as byzantium
7. I will login as myself and unpause the game
8. I'll PM the password to Ozzy (Cc: to byzantium)
Ozzy: please just keep current affairs going. Do it in Byzantium's best interest, but no wars or big diplomatic changes. (unless of course someone declares war on you, then just act in Byzantium's best interest)

Really sorry guys!
Moved house and the phone company messed up my connection, and then had to go away to somewhere which was meant to have phone and internet connection but doesn't (yes places long out of phone connectivity do exist still!).
Very pleased to have a regent appointed. I will contact him briefly now in the few minutes i have connection before heading off again. Will be back at the weekend I hope.
