The Dance of Civilizations [Diplo Game] [Organization Thread Pt1]
Definitely wasn't criticising Hairy Hog. I've been there before myself - the whole clash between a responsibility to be measured, and a (IG perfectly reasonable) beligerance from the weaker party. I can fully see the 'if they won't accept a reasonable peace, then its their fault if their pain isn't measured', though of course what is a reasonable peace is always a matter of opinion. And I can't comment on that without giving away whether I know the facts about the mountains you are discussing, the relative sizes etc., which I am not going to.
Anyway, being plunged into a discussion of rules isn't what this game needs - hope I haven't precipitated that. But, I did think that Herelictus' comment which seemed to be on the logic of 'as long as you don't destroy their capital you can do as you want' needing some response. .
I have no problem accepting peace under the terms Persia wrote. I just refuse to call him master. If he wishes the war to be over all he need do is take that part out.
The civ formerly known as The Holy Empire of Britannia/dutch
Britannia hasn't move yet and the turn timer ends within 5 hours.
If I won't move now I can't move at all anymore during this turn.
Since Britannia and me aren't physically at war with each other and we aren't within each other's view right now I hope everyone is ok if I move now. If not, I'll make a save before I move, Robert can then use that save to reload.
I'll continue to accept Britannia's first order in the turn order.
Force is always beside the point when subtlety will serve <a href = "http://apolyton.net/forums/showpost.php?p=5759340&postcount=49">Darius order to kill Oroetes</a></p>
And another one falls to Persia. How disapointing to see both Russia and Britannia fall without even putting up a real fight. Very impressed by Persias aggressive play. Wonder who will be next on their hit list.
Yes please. And can we carry on the 8 hour turns beyond turn 100 (which is approaching fast)? This is working well - the turns keepign turning over which gives the game momentum, but we slow it down when we need to (the recent war).
Can we extend for another chunk - say until turn 125 and then look again?

Rome, can you please cast your test-vote again?
WarningU2 only received a blanc vote from you. Now we need to figure out of that was an incident or if there's something wrong!
Thanks!

civstats doesn't include the Beyond the Sword civs, and it won't untill the creator/owner of civstats makes an update, which will most probably never happen

Doubt the evil little terrors can get much further yet but I reckon a couple more will be big on Axemen for a while.
