Surely we cannot have a quitter this early? Very rude not to even post disinterest if that is what it is. They do need a Sub so early or they will be dead meat and not worth taking over at this stage.

I found a sub.
I doubt that the player has quited. He just missed 4 days, which means a lot of turns at this pace. I have reasons to believe that he believes someone else would play for him.

Let's wait till he return before we draw conclusions.

Why would you do that? printscreen, alt+tab, open paint, paste. printscreen also makes a shot into your documents folder-that could be blocked for some reason.

I also play in windowed modus, no problems though to printscrn to the civ4 printscrn folder. Anyway, good that you found a solution!

England, Arabia and Inca just cruising and both Mali and Greece are sleeping giants. Never trust a Roman either and I doubt Egypt will sit at the bottom for too much longer.

those with the capability wont , those with the fortitude cant.

It basically the same in all Civ games i seen. The people who can look at the big boys are too busy building hteir own civ and are worried about going in too early.

Just because someone is on top game score wise dosnt always mean you should. A wise man knows when to pick his battles rather then fight pointless wars.
