  • The army of the tyrants destroyed

Deep in the Mayan jungle a huge invasion army rumbled. Alexander had sent the pride of his army - infantry and machine guns, artillery and many tanks, great generals and medics. 16 divisions or more in total.

What were the defenceless Maya to do?

The Romans, leaders of the Free World, enemies of tyranny, could not stand by and see Alexander fill his lust for the blood of innocent civilians again.

First Roman cavalry, yes cavalry, headed off the tanks as they raced out of the jungles towards the Mayan lands. The Roman cavalry thought it was a brave suicide mission - the last ride of the knights - as they saddled up, but imagine their joy when the tanks, under fire from the Roman airforce, crumpled and fled.

Then the Spartan army dug in deep in the jungles, regrouping, still a huge army threatening Maya and Roman cities alike. Citizens of Mayan cities flocked to the draft for the first time, willing to die rather than see their women and children crushed under Spartan tanks.

They dug in digging their own graves.

    Then they came:

The jungles became the hell deserved by oath-breakers

    The Spartans fought on:

but were crushed. Every man of them. The whole of the Spartan army, the invaders of Rome and Maya, eliminated.

A great victory for the free world. The tide on tyranny is turning.

    • Given the current crisis within old Piercia, the Wyandot War Cabinet met for the first time to discuss the conflict between the members of Pax Romana and the Japanese.

The Wyandot Nation are a member of Pax Romana so on that note, the Wyandot are obligated to come to the assistance of their brothers.

War is the last thing the Wyandot people ever wanted, Pax Romana was supposed to assist in keeping war at bay...maybe some day, it will again.

It is with a heavy heart that the Wyandot declare war on Japan.

        • Flashback to 1798

Metalhead troops prepare for the invasion. The main force prepared to face off against the main Spanish force in the ancient Incan city of Silver Lode. Many in the military advised against such a frontal blow. They argued this was Spain's strongest point, it was better, they argued to strike at the inconceivably soft Spanish underbelly. Upwards of 85% of the Spanish military was contained in two cities - Silver Lode and Zaragoza. The two northernmost cities that bordered Holy Roman and Celtic territory respectively.

The other side in the debate said it was precisely the fact that a majority of their forces were in Silver Lode that it needed to be struck directly. A hit and run campaign of stabbing at their undefended points won't defeat the enemy, only provoke them. It would harm the civilians more than the military. To defeat the enemy you must destroy their forces. The Spanish in this case were nice enough to put all their forces in the same place making them, they argued, easier to destroy at one time and thus score a heavy blow to enemy morale.

The internal debate lasted for days. Soldiers were mustering and the Generals were still debating strategy. There seemed to be movement toward an agreement for a mixed strategy, with forces assigned to either purpose. Which would strike first then became the point of contention.

At first the leading argument was that the naval forces should slip in quickly to the nearly undefended Spanish rear. Take a city or two and entrench their forces to try and hold the cities. Hopefully draw the main force in Silver Lode south preparing the way for the main force to sweep through from the north.

However the ability to slip in quickly and quietly was overestimated. Soon before war was declared it became clear that Spain was alerted to the threat they faced and began drafting new units and better equipping old ones. Cities that were once nearly undefended became lightly defended and were just strong enough to avoid the strategy.

Instead superior numbers were trusted to win the day. Even with the Spanish reinforcements, the Generals assumed there would be a ROCKIN' victory in the near future.

          • The battle would prove to be the largest seen on the continent of Meduian since the Holy Roman assault on Metallica in ancient times. Arguably it was the largest battle the continent had ever seen.

The Spanish machine guns claimed many lives.

But the Metalhead cannon did their duty well and softened up the defenders with days of around the clock shelling before the infantry were sent in.

While the Metalheads suffered considerable losses they ultimately prevailed. Silver Lode was Spanish no more.

It was at this moment that the Metalhead Generals realized the Spanish, in their desperation to hold Silver Lode had withdrawn troops from nearby cities. Cordoba was entirely undefended. It was now that the naval invasion force was engaged. The Metalhead Galleons swept in from the sea and landed knights and machine guns on the Cordoban hilltop. They quickly dug in.

The path of reinforcements was now cut off by the capture of Cordoba. Recovering troops from the Siege of Silver Lode were now safely able to move south and capture Vitoria. With the fall of these three cities the railways were then secured and troops from Silver Lode were able to quickly travel to reinforce Cordoba.

At this point Roman and Portuguese troops began to gather and the Metalheads held their ground in Cordoba, unsure what lay in store.

            • From: Chairman Vasili Mikhailovich Blokhin, Council of Transition and Stability
To: Civilised Nations of the World
CC: Queen Alexandra the Coward of Greece, Sato Eisaku the Greek Quisling Governor of Japan

My friends, Two entire civilised nations that once existed have been swallowed by the Greek Juggernaut of oppression. One, not so civilised, survives only by clinging to its’ master's hand and being fed scraps as befits a worthless shell of a nation. Greece now seeks to force Russia to cower before her and has given her pup toys to play with as an aid to these devilish plans.

I am truly delighted that Chief Tarhe has committed his valiant Wyandot people to join fully with Russia and Rome in defence of Piercia. Rome has much to do in the South against another barbarous Greek attack, staged at the expense of Spanish liberty, and cannot aid us as they would. Wyandot help will prove pivotal in driving the perfidious Japanese out of Piercia forever! Not one scrap of Piercian land will be left contaminated by these repulsive creatures when this campaign is over.

War has been harsh and the fall of Pierced Hill tragic for its' innocent population.

They know however, that Russia will return to bring them freedom despite the heavy toil. Russian Troops fight bravely, along the roads to Azizia and Horse Valley against enormous odds!

Alexandra, you are very devil's spawn as secret photographs of you being weaned by your Mother show!

As for you Sato, I was amused to see you posing for the camera to try and impress your perverted and corrupt people!

You really need to wear a brassiere and remain fully clad as you will never make a topless model. Perhaps you hope to entice Alexandra to share her bedchamber with you? Perhaps you are correct, as Greeks are careless as to matters of gender or species.

And their comment clearly shows the Russians respect for other cultures.. but what should we expect form a country who only excel in the art of manipulations and lies...

                          • At long last, the Spanish-Metal war was over. Although the Celts were involved for a short amount of time, the casualties at Zaragosa were high. As part of the settlement, Zaragosa is now a part of the Celtic country. Ironically, it was at Zaragosa that the Celtic people found out about the final days of the great explorer Martius McFly. he spent many days in a cell, carving a tally in the stone wall every day at sunrise. Although he was fed, the Spanish barely paid him any attention. It was discovered that for several years he plotted his escape. Unfortunately his escape would never happen as the technology just wasn't there. According to drawings in the cell block, Martius planned to use a horse to maintain a high speed of velocity running down the street. He had calculated that at just the right moment, if lightening were to strike the clock tower in the square, and that electricity were to travel down a wire and he were to touch that wire, he would be able to launch himself to the past and avoid capture. Thankfully, he was never allowed out of his cell to try such a foolish stunt.

Also found in the cell were remnants of drawings. It appeared that Martius had also started to develop blueprints for some type of floating board. Now that we have flying airships, perhaps a floating board is not so far fetched.

                              Formal Apology,

With shock we followed your revelations about Martius McFly. We apologize for treating one who you hold in such high regards with anything less than our best and hope for your forgiveness.

We ordered a deep search of our records. Records were found detailing the capture of McFly, records of the claims he made during interrogation. Apparently our secret service lost interest in the man quite quickly.

They handed him over to Zaragosan local authorities. Of this we could not find any records (they must now be in your hands) There was one final report found regarding his incarceration. The report mentions that it was not a prison where he was held, it was a mental hospital...
