I'm not voting as I don't care what happens at this point. The game has been tainted. We have three big babies that can't seem to do anything but cry about what did and didn't happen. Unfortunately, one of them is the host and is abusing his power in my opinion. The impartial judgment came way too late as the game moved onward and as such we are in an even stickier mess.
Before you declare a reload, consider any other wars that are being fought at this time. How will those civs be affected by this reload? To me the reload is an annoyance as I have to make the same moves again that I made a week ago. I can live with that, but it isn't so simple for others.
I also understand Cyber's point of view. If a reload occurs, the strategy is already shown regardless of whether or not the other parties involved "believed" what they were experiencing. The same holds true for the other wars happening around the planet.
Regardless of the solution, you are likely to lose players. Some because of the reload and are fed up with the bickering, some because of being involved in the current hot spot and unhappy with the decision.
What astounds me the most is that someone would even consider cheating in a game that has absolutely no bearing on ANYTHING. Notice I am not claiming anyone actually cheated. We aren't playing for money. We aren't playing for ranking. We are playing to have fun. There should be no reason for such an uproar and blood boiling. I might expect this out of novices, but you guys are well known in the community. I'd expect a little more mature behavior out of someone with a high profile in the community.

Ozzy: please close this thread, let's start a VI thread.
Please remove all arguments regarding this issue from both threads.
I ask you to do that because I leave it up to you to consider if that's the right thing to do.
If you guys want to continue this game without me because of the above thing, you can do that by setting up your own pitboss server.
I will not hand over any of the votes or plomp.eu mail stuff.
I know that that's an abuse of my power. I have done so much for this game, including hours of vote counting, setting up accounts, helping subs to start in this game that I simply will not accept it to be booted from this game.
For the record: if any of the following people: Ozzy, Toni, deity find reasons to argue my decision based on the reasonig I gave for it (other then: "it's wrong") they know how to contact me. I am very willing to chance my decision based on good reasons.
I hate it to do it like this. I do feel like a huge dictator.Formerly known as "CyberShy"

Cyber, good one.
Also note that I am very fond of you and appreciate all your efforts.
I am annoyed at people jumping to the cheat accusations so unfairly.
This made me and others sympathise with you OOC which tainted the unfolding of the games history. Ozzy had a more balanced approach but OOC and IC did overlap as it transpired and I am guilty of this too.Last edited by Guest; March 6, 2009, 20:17.

You should be ashamed of yourselves! How any of you can take a GAME and turn it into a battle of twisted egoes astonishes me. I thought I had joined a diverting bit of fun to waste an hour or two after work but instead I find myself in the company of idiots.
Capo you couldn't find your anus without an atlas, Maya you are coming close to needing the same help and Cyber you are now suffering a retrogresive episode that requires therapy. I have no time for this and, not that I am any loss to this 'beautiful baby competition', I have had enough! Either you children play the game rather than with your own genitalia or I am out of this.“Quid latine dictum sit, altum videtur”

I have no idea what is going on to tell you the truth. Is the game done?
Like Rome can someone please summarize what the issue is about?
Where is this voting thread?

I must admit I don't really understand the problem now.
There was the- original allegation of foul play in relation to the cease-fire. This was shown to be false - in that there was no foul play, just an unusual game-mechanic - but we reloaded, twice, to get it right. Issue closed.
- There was the double-move claim, which was shown to be true according to the written rules, and the judgement of the judges was implemented. Issue closed.
- I can't get to the bottom of what written rule is meant to have been broken now.
If Capo wants to accept the offer which CS has made about moving troops in and out of the city, fine - not for me to comment.
Otherwise, I suggest we do the same as before. Is it reasonable for Maya and Capo to query whether the case gets fairly heard because CS is one of the parties, so Ozzy, please sort some judgements quickly. Leave the game paused until they report (please within 24 hours if not sooner) and lets get back to civ.
I also am in the middle of a war.
