Considering I traded vouchers, not techs, the other person's totals aren't changed. So the only total to be concerned with is mine.

No, you still need to declare who got them to account for their tally.

What if you traded three vouchers for fur? That person would have +3 vouchers... unaccounted for.

Of course we could have made the rule that when you receive vouchers you need to declare it, but we didn't... we put it on the person giving out vouchers.

Not all voucher trades are 1 voucher for 1 tech.

If you trade a tech for a voucher, you lose nothing.
Giving a tech away costs you 1 voucher, that means you have 4 vouchers left, not 3, or I must misunderstand you.

NO it does not. It means that you have used up one tech vouhcer with the trade of your tech and the person you did business with lost two tech vouchers. You only gain them if you traded for two tech vouchers.

According to the last update you posted I had made 7 trades.

Since then I traded 4 vouchers for 4 techs, and gave away one tech without receiving a voucher in exchange.

So I believe that uses up 5 tech vouchers total. 5 + 7 = 12.

However, if you think I've really made 11 trades, PLEASE convince me. Cause I'd be much happier with 4 left.

Ok, now I understand what you meant.

I read that as: "Traded one tech (away) for a voucher (in return)"
That wouldn't have cost you a voucher.
