The barbarian horde heading for Wild Kho'Per fled the piercian archeresses in the first place, but their simple presence was an insult to the proud people of the settlement.

The archeresses followed them into the jungle northwards and slaugtered them one by one, thereby acquiring precious experience in fighting ennemys wielding close-combat weapons.

The ferocious women were way to quick for the clumsy muscle-bags. They jumped among the trees, just like the sunrays danced on the leaves, and not single archeress was wounded in the fight.

How do you know of this? Spying on Rome is not a good idea. Yes the city is a mining colony. The reason why we are building barracks is that the city is small and must grow, between military units and barracks we assumed barracks would be a cause for less concern.

We could be equally concerned by your 2 axemen near the city, but we have faith in your good intentions.

Again how would you know of this? In any case we have intell on only the smallest portion of Portuguese lands. Your objection is noted, in the future we shall censor out land owned by the Portuguese crown.

Our scouts have revealed that the Rus have few lands to settle, to the east there appears to be nothing but ocean.

This changes matters considerably. We now change our border proposal. We base it on the original Rus offer of the Ren as a border, but we propose it be modified so the Rus and Romans can settle next to the river (you have already done this), we only ask for one city site of this kind, a city near the mountain lake, from there southward we propose the the border follow the unbroken moutain chain untill it reaches Ravenna, there our original border offer applies.

Is this acceptable?

We hope the current strain on our relations was merely a misunderstanding. May bridges of more than one kind be built among our lands in the future.

In Ravenna, Roman sentries feel a low rumbling. A shaking of the earth. Is it an earthquake? A Mudslide? No. It is Pitr of Rus. Stopping on horseback on top of glitterhill, north of Ravenna he surveys the city and is approached by a Roman emissary. Quickly reading the letter he places it in his saddlebag and turns his horse westwards.

Through the small patch of desert onto the grand open Roman river valley south of the Uralps, passing city after city, until finally, standing at the outskirts of Rome.

I wonder if I will be welcomed in...

The day had passes since the warning to the Oldonian ship was warned to leave Japanese waters. at first it seemed like they lisened but now it is clear they wish war. the Oldonias have entered Japanese waters again and this is considered an act of war. Lord Zanza has now ordered the destroction of the ship and the army was to go to the main land and lay wast to all Oldonian cities. maybe this will show them to stay out of our waters.

Word from the S.S.S Lonely Voyager

The Spanish people have finally received word of meeting some new people.

Greetings my fellow countrymen. We have been delighted to have met some strange people on the shore. We tried to make contact with these strange people, but we just could not understand what they were talking about. When we tried to say that we were friendly people they got very angry with us and they tried to beat us up with their clubs in their hands, but thankfully we got back onto our boat in tie before they could do us damage. We hope that these people are just wondering folks who got lost to civilised people, but we can never know that. We will bravely go onto search for greener pastures.

The people were glad to hear that our brave country men were able to find safety back on their trustworthy boat. But the message they brought was not a good message since they had met some strange peoples. But this brought out fear from our nation that the monsters of lore had a much more frightening feature than what they had before. The realised that the creatures were actually peoples from a time that land did not know and this made them afraid.

But one valiant man stood up amongst the crowd. " My countrymen, do not fear. I have received word out of the city of Barcelona that they found a colony of a noble creature that we can build onto them vast weapons of war that will make our nation mighty once more. We have called it a chariot and here is a drawing of what one will look like. We have not finished one since we are still testing them out to see how trustworthy they are, but you can see the basic picture."
