well, some of it is possibly russian posturing and propaganda. but you were offering the tech at less than optimal rates for the buyers so the brilliant russians feel the need to underbid you with our own, superior alphabet

The Americans have problems reading all those weird strange signs above. What does it mean?

Seriously, we need to find a way to communicate together. This is getting old.

First there's that weird thing in front of me, with a bright shining square with all kinds of signs on it. Then there's some rope that 'connects' the lightning square to a whole in the tree!?
Then there's a plate with small squared sized 'things' on it that make the square change when I bump on it.

it's really too much for me.

You should be glad that the Americans don't have access to dictionary.com yet!

In case people don't read their Private Messages,
this is what I've just sent to all of you:
                          -----------

                          Hi Guys/Gal,

Tonight/Today we play the 4th session of the HOTW XI game!
We've had 3 good sessions so far (despite the always-present troubles to get the game started) and I'm really curious how we will do now the game really starts to progress.

make sure that you post and read stories in the story thread.
Also make sure you drop by in the Organizational thread.

Read your Private Messages as well once in a while.
Maybe another civ tried to contact you.

Make sure you have something to read during the sessions for the case things slow down
Also make sure that you're in optima forma so your brains can advance the turns as fast as possible. (both fast and possible deserve attention! Since after all we don't play without a turn-timer for no reason).

I'm looking forwards, as ever, to tonights session!
All make sure that you're online in time.
                          I'll host (like last week)

(on the other hand, I have to be sceptical to a religion based on mushroom-induced hallucination...)
