I'm just wondering about the sending of role-playing PM's.

Being private makes them strategically relevant to the writers/players involved BUT being private makes them irrelevant to all except in very late hindsight.

I'm wondering if on balance it may not be better to publish PM's as real posts which might also reflect that no diplomatic messages are immune to dissemination...

    Thoughts?

With the story thread it's a bit frustrating that a key civ to me, England , is not posting. I really need Daniel's take on some of my propositions. And also some responses perhaps from Germany and Russia.

Cyber is the only one to take it up and that was by way of a PM.

You're lucky that I do not have the power of PCR!

Regarding PM's, some things have to be said in private. It's obviously possible to put all PM's here in the threat but that would effectivtely (?) mean the end of any behind the scenes diplomacy.

If people aren't responding to PM's, send them an e-mail. I'll try to collect all e-mail addresses during tonights session. (please remind me) and share them. That may improve our diplomacy communications.

For the record, I've send out PM's to people who didn't respond to it either

I got a line speed meter that compares comparable broadband services around the world. It changes daily but by country it is more or less along these lines:

                          • It's known that there are so many people in the USA who are still on dialup, and the scheme still shows that USA is at the top. That makes no sence at all.
