Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I'm not playing so I have no say, but damn it I'm putting my foot down.
And there is no way it'll go 6 sessions I highly doubt under 10. You are being way too optomistic about the lobby. I anticipate you'll have all sorts of connection issues like every other diplogame.
I believe I set it to Epic, but I can always change things if people wanted. I am the map master.
But I think I'll fix up the map on Thursday cause y'all keep changing **** around too much, I don't want to start making changes till I know for sure what you guys want, heh.

Another issue:
shall we use the unofficial Solver-patch? (download here)
It fixes some corporation and espionage problems that may work very well for our game.
If we'll use it all players must download it and replace their current dll file with it BEFORE THE GAME STARTS!
Formerly known as "CyberShy"
Carpe Diem tamen Memento Mori
going through the list of items fixed by Solver's patch I see that 9/10 of them are AI-related. And we're not playing with any AI's. the only fixes I see directly related to our game are the following, and even they are of minimal consequence.
* Tweaks to Governor, particularly "Emphasize Food"
* Destroying Towns through espionage will turn them into Villages, etc.
* Blockade code rewritten so that blockading is now much faster, as per Gyathaar
* Corporation maintenance is now exempt from inflation, so the costs don't blow up so much.
there are also a few that may matter, but I'm not sure what they are referring to:
* Fixing a possible infinite loop problem with unit movement.
* "Dead unitgroup walking" crash fix as per Dale
* Another colony crash fix as per myself
(will we be allowed to make colonies??)
* Fixed the bug allowing Forts in foreign territory, which would result in Forts overrunning useful rival improvements.
* Fixed an infinite loop problem with city attackers (thanks Gyathaar)
I feel there is very little gain for a lot of potential extra complication. Even though I dont have a say as a full-fledged player I feel the official patch is the safest.
(I also oppose 2 portugals)
but seriously, like now, should I play for Dacole come friday?
I too concur that we should limit ourselves to the use of "offical" patches.
Concerning the two Portugals - Myself, I have no problems with it either way - although it would complicate the diplomacy a bit.

Yea no need of other patches, Also LZ because we haven't heard anything from Cole yet, maybe you should play his civ this friday. Still i worry if he shows up you won't have a civ to play? I know that Mr Lincoln, said that we need a sub for him the 1st session you willing to play for him? Also he said that he will be late most sessions for a about an hr or so, so if you are willing you can play for him till he comes.
Any other ideas how we can fit you in the game? I guess you can always start your own civ, and play for 5 weeks, then just leave it as an AI?
The patch solves two key things:
- espionage (poison water is waaaaay too powerfull in the 3.03)
- corporation maintenance
and indeed many possible crashes.
This patch may be unofficial, but Solver and Dale worked on it, both people are related very close to Firaxis, and Dale is even the official AI programmer for BtS.
If this patch won't be used, then I insist that we won't use the poison water supply spy-action.

And if anything you could just have a gentleman's agreement not to use poison water supply.
While you guys really should get everything figured out on Thursday so I can make the map, I should be around on Friday in case any last minute map changes are needed.
