Deity, this may be a bit of a nit pick, but by the time I subbed, it was for MMC (England). I believe Moker was running Rome. It had to have been nearly 2-3 hours into the session when Ozzy asked if I could sub.
I know MMC was playing England at the start of the session, but something happened. However, at some point I lost interest in following the chatNon Serviam

BTW... session 3 was after I moved. Since then, the reliabilty of the connerction has gone downhill... Some people might like to note that for session 3 I was the only one using my connection. Since then my flatmates also moved in properly and are now sharing the connection which is stretching the reliability to breaking point.Ceeforee v0.1 - The Unofficial Civ 4 Editor -= Something no Civ Modder should ever be without =- Last Updated: 27/03/2009

I feel I should set the record straight on the connection problems I had.
During the last makeup session on Sunday, my ISP had a hiccup and my internet connection dropped just long enough to drop everyone except me. However, I was dropped from the AIM chat.
The Friday before that, my ISP dropped service in my whole neighborhood. This happens on occasion, but it was coincidental that it happened 20 mins before game time, and it was restored just minutes after game time.
The session in which I got Alphabet, I was under a lot of pressure with the new rules (for me) and I accidently clicked on the little red 'X,' thus dropping everyone. That was entirely human error, and that particular error will not happen twice during this game, because I can only get Alphabet once.
Other than that, these are the only problems I have had. Unlike the rest of you, as a host, I have never suffered from the Big Bang effect, as you all know. As proof, we only started using the term 'Big Bang effect' after Moker started hosting. When I hosted successfully, everyone logged in at the same time without any problems. As long as my connection functions without fail on Friday, I should have no problems."When you have to kill a man, it costs nothing to be polite." - Winston Churchill

Yeah, we aren't talking about that anymore. That's just a thing we all do now and then. No worries.Formerly known as "CyberShy"

Welcome back Thrak!
I'm currently totally unknownign about which civilization is played by which and which players aren't able to play anymore and which ones are.
Good to have you back though!
Right now I fear that players may have lost interest in this game because of the two horror sessions friday and monday.
I hope that everbody will start posting that they'll play next friday soon again!Formerly known as "CyberShy"

Out of the 7 days that my new internet connection could be enabled (and my old be disabled) my ISP has chosen TOMORROW! Not only our civillization day but also the birthday of my wife.
I hope that I'll be able to quickly configure my new settings and install my new modem (that unfortunately contains a router as well, but I'll try to disable it) and be able to play in time.
If I won't be there you know why. I'll do my very best though!Formerly known as "CyberShy"
