  • To Haakon, King of the Vikings,
and world leaders that are currently present in this meeting,

    Hail Haakon!
Leader of the brave nations of the Vikings.
Brave enough to call the free, Krishnian, people of Terra for this meeting while the dark cloud of an Arab invasion hangs above those who dare to speak up against the foolish faith of the Zealoats.

You asked me about my ideas regarding the current situation in Terra. My vision is clear, the madness must stop. If Islam wants to be establishd as a valid religion on Terra it must handle like the respected religions on Terra, like Krishnianity and Hinduism.

I call for peace. I call for an end of the hostilities from the Arabs towards the Choson. I want the free, Krishnian, nations to speak out clearly with one voice against the following matters:

    - We must condemn the Arab invasion of the Celts and the current vassal state of the Celts
    - We must condemn the Arab invasion of the Choson
    - We must discuss sanctions against the Arabians, like closing our borders, ending all deals and stop supplying them with knowledge on the latest technology, till the Arabs have stopped their invasion of the Choson.

I am sure that we can establish peace again when all free, Krishnian, nations of Terra speak with one mouth.

    Asoka, Prince of the Indians.

    • ((ooc, carthage is fine. it is celtia that has been vassalized))

((ic, Asoka, I assume you are attending and speaking at the summit? ))

      Haakon speaks again

Thank you for your words Asoka. Emissaries of England, Carthage, China and Egypt, please speak your minds also, we must settle this quickly, lest our children and their children's children living under the yoke of the demon prophet will forever curse our weakness and inaction.

Friends, neighbours, wise and mighty Kings and Queens of the near and far West. Asoka is a wise and honorable man. His words are both true and good. Asoka is a man of peace. A man respecting all life and all people, as in turn he expects to be respected. We all wish to live in the world Asoka envisions, but we do not. If such a world should exist we must first make it. And there is a great obstacle to that world of peace.

Asoka suggests we condemn the Arabs for their conquest of the Celts, as we rightly should. Asoka suggests we condemn the Arabs for their relentless assaults upon the peaceful people of Choson, as we rightly should. Asoka suggests we boycott and sanction the Arabs for their evil, as we rightly must!

But, forgive me Asoka, I fear your peaceful way will not be enough. If we do not act against Arabia now, the Choson will fall, as the Celts did. If the Arab leaders would listen to reason then condemning their ways would perhaps cause them to reconsider their actions. But the warlord prophet that runs Arabia today has shown a complete lack of rationality or composure. Only one thing matters to this mindless fanatic, the complete and total domination of all humanity. And into this quest he has poured his cruelty, his malice and his will to dominate all living things. Depriving the darkness of the east of resources I fear will be futile, both the Celts and Bulgarians, and soon the Choson, will give them what they would not get from us. The Arabian people would notice little difference as the repression of their government forbids them dissent.

The darkness is rising. Like a great wave, gaining in size and strength. Towering higher and higher, blotting out the sun and casting its blackening dark shadow upon all the world. Yet light shall shine for those who are vigilant and virtous! In the Northlands, the Lighthouse of the Vikings, will shine! Its beacon of hope challenging the darkness, holding it back, until the very last fairhaired man of the north lies bloodied and dying on the slopes of Bjoergyn!

I WILL NOT ALLOW THIS TO COME TO PASS!

We cannot afford to stand by and protest atrocities. We cannot afford to condemn those who would not listen. We must act, with strength, and we must act, with haste. Will you march with me to the Blackened gates at the Arab border, or will you invite your peril and unavoidable doom.

The ancient King collapses on his chair, breathing in a low rasping manner.

      • [yes, I was speaking at the meeting]

Asoka stands up and speaks out in reply to Haakon

Mighty Haakon, your speech has touched my heart.
I admire your heartfelt words. You do really care for freedom and you do really have empathy for those who suffer. And your message has been heard.
I have heard your words. I have heard the hope that is behind them. But I feel it as my task to restrain the heat that's boiling inside you.

If we do what you propose it may become the end of the world as we know it today. If we fight the Muslims like they fight us, then bitter war with many casualities will follow. Cities will be razed, onnocent women will be raped. Fields of corn will be stepped on by millions of soldier feet. The smoke of bones on fire will cover the air and the blue sky may never be seen again.

Your solution, while it comes from a good heart, will not bring peace. If we ever want to establish peace again we must handle with wisdom. We must think our acts through. Therefor I suggest that we first push the peacefull sanctions and save the last good deed, which will end all good deeds, for later.

If we must we will take our arms and march to the battle. If there is no way out then India will embrace the coalition and fight side by side with the Vikings. If there is no solution then to fight war with war and to end the spoiling of blood by spoiling more blood, then India will do so. But we can only do so if we are sure that that's the only possibility we have. We can only do so if we know that that's our only way out. We can only face our children and grantchildren if we have done those things that are good.

Therefor I once again call upont his meeting to first seek for the paths of peace, through embargos and diplomatic pressure. And only if these paths fail I will line up behind Haakon and follow his banner to the battle field.

This is my message to Muhammed: Give in to our demands and you will have to face me. Do not give in and be prepared to meet Haakon the terrible on the battlefield.

This is my message to the meeting: I ask you to follow me first and if I fail, then I ask you to follow Haakon.

"The Bulgarians wish to have a summit with India, China and Egypt. There have been stressful relations since the Bulgarians settled so near our lands."

If we can prevent a war, we should try to meet and talk."

Send a messenger to India and to China! It is time to talk with the Bulgarians. They wish to help us and avoid a war."

          • To Asoka, Prince of India from tzar Simeon.

We have read carefully you statement and because we have nothing to hide we are ready now to answer your questions prince Asoka.

1st. Yes we were the reason for the Romans demise, but let’s not forget that Bulgaria wasn’t the only civilization participating in that war, there was a great international coalition.

2nd. I admit that long time ago we settled a city close on the Chinese and Egyptian borders, and since then filling that we may have insulted some leaders by this act we have tried to make it up to them. Having had contact with the Chinese, during the 1st war of roman aggression towards them we send our brave armies to help them fight the Romans also a city was gifted to them after the last war as a gesture of friendship. We were told that our city is pressuring culturally those borders as well, and we agree with those statements as well. This city is our holy city and because recently a great shrine was build there we knew that our culture will expand further. Veliki Preslav has stopped building any more cultural buildings in order to allow our neighbors to catch up. We hope you see prince that we are working hard towards this.

3rd Yes the Bulgarians are friends but no allies with their Arabic neighbor, long we have traded resources and knowledge. When our people found it possible to trade with other nations long time ago the Arabs were one of the very few to agree to trade with us. We have always tried to diversify our trade though trading with other nations as well, and a proof of that is that we signed opened borders with everyone we met in hope of such a trade. We think of ourselves as honest traders who seek equal and fair trading.

When we signed our trade agreements, the Arabs were a friendly nation then. None of our people expected them to turn into a religious warmongering zealots. As you all know we the Bulgarians have our own religion and fear now that a religion conflict maybe possible once the Arabs turn their attention towards our borders. We already have been told to convert peacefully to Islam, but their offer has been turned down. We understand why other nations fear the Arabs, but keep in mind that we are much closer then you to this growing conflict and we have more to loss then you do.

4th Our position is clear we want an immediate cease to hostilities and the start of a constructive negotiations between the warring parties. In protest of this we will cut all diplomatic relationships with the Arabs until they decide to follow a peaceful coexistence with their neighbors.

5th About the Egyptian matter, we have spoken with them already and have found a solution to it. We can proudly state that our two nations are growing warmer due to their Leader’s diplomatic character.

6th The Bulgarians have always been friendly towards their south western neighbors and will continue to do so. Already trade agreements are being negotiated with the Chinese people. We have open borders with china and India and for a long time have allowed their scouts and missionaries to pass through out lands.

7th We will handle an Arabic aggression to our south western neighbors with all diplomatic tools we have at hand. We are a peaceful nation and the diplomatic way for us is the right way so we will pursue this to the fullest.

8th Our help towards the Choson will come via as well through diplomacy, we have already contacted the Arab leader to ask him to seek an immediate peace with the Choson and we also let them know our disapproval of their actions .

9th Last time we saw your former king Lala Lajpat Rai was when he was invited to our royal court for dinner and we were told by his majesty that he was panning to head next for the eastern part of terra. That’s all we know about him.

Prince Asoka, our Tzar looks forward to your reply

To touch the very silk of sky

To live in company of the gods
Like the falcon, now to fly

Carved from granite, stands the tribute
              Towering o'er this wonderous land

              Pyramids break the smooth horizen
On this sea of burning sand!"

              My Egypt! ... writes Hatshepsut....

"A lantern hidden in our cloaks
Awash on the sands of life
              We meet each other
To show or not to show our light

              One light to reveal
              Two to share
              Three or more to light
              Our small new world."

So much for our group of friends!"

Pharaoh greets the emissaries from several lands, and shows them her newly created Pyramid of Chitzen Itza. Egypt needs new lands.. To Punt! She muses.

              • When Asoka had returned for a short while to his guest room he sat on his chair with an empty look in his eyes. He stared into nothing. Tears were in his eyes. There was anger. Much anger.

                Mahatma Gandhi entered the room.
"Dear brother" he spoke to Asoka, "Dear brother, I am worried to see so much hate in your eyes!"
Asoka turned his head towards Ghandi and replied: "Why do you call me 'brother' while questioning my reasons to mourn the death of our father? Mourn with me and share my anger."
"Hate and anger won't bring our father back!" Ghandi returned. "Neither will love and friendship."

"You cannot sit and mourn, for the sake of your people!"
"The sake of my people is only served by the sake of my father"
"Show the people that you are like him and lead them in his spirit!"
"Do you ask me to give up on him and take his throne and call him officially death by taking his royal title?"
"It does not matter what title you carry with you, my brother. It's not your title or your name that will make you royal, it's your actions and your deeds."
"It is my royal plight to do whatever is needed to bring my father back"
"And what is needed to accomplish that, brother?"
"Don't call me 'brother' when you came obviously here to poison my mind with words of love."
"What is it that you are planning to do mylord? Will you continue to lead the doves in the Viking meeting to avoid an escalation of war with the Arabs?"
"I am in doubt. When I look at the Arabs then I look at the Bulgarians. Why is it that all evil seems to come from one direction? Maybe Haakon is right after all and we must destroy evil when we can"
"You cannot destroy evil by evil, mylord"
                "That's what I told Haakon"
"I hear the voice of our father in your voice and his wisdom glows in your eyes"

                Asoka stared in the mirror.
Ghandi continued: "The Bulgarians are not like the Arabians. And there will be a good explanation for the loss of our father"
"NO EXPLANATION CAN BE GOOD ENOUGH!"
"No explanation can be good enough, but we must give the Bulgarians a change to show their clean consciousness. Remember that there's still a bigger change that our father was......."
                "Was what?"
"Well, there's a good change that the Romans..."
"What did the Romans do....? TELL ME WHAT IS IN YOUR MIND!"
"The Romans were in despair, the King of India came to them, I'm afraid that they have murdered him..."
"MY FATHER IS NOT DEATH.... He is not! And he will return and be king again! NO Not again, he still is the King of the Indians! And I will not be king before I have seen his death body!"
"And what will you do in the meantime?"
"I will reign in his name and in his spirit. I will lead the coalition of the peacefull doves and try to avoid war with the Arabians. And I will send scouts to Bulgaria and Rome to look for my father. And I will send the following letter to Simeon in reply:

                Simeon,

My father left Rho-Delhi to try to establish peace between the Romans and the Bulgarians. There were no plans to travel to the east nor to have a dinner on the royal Bulgarian table. I need to know the truth about my father before any further forms of negotiation can start.

                Asoka, Prince of India
                "

"And what if you find the death body of our father?"
"THEN ALL OF TERRA WILL BURN. Now let me alone."

                Ghandi left the room, worried.
Outside the room someone asked: "What's up with the prince?". "He is about to lose his mind, I'm afraid" Ghandi replied.
"There is much wisdom in him, he can be like his father. But there is much anger in him that may cover his deeds and let India fall in darkness."
"We cannot let that happen! You must reign us in his place!"
"He is my older brother, the throne belongs to him!"
"Not if something happens to him....."
"Don't speak about such things, he is my brother after all and I love him! I have looked into his eyes and saw that he may heal again. Give him time to mourn over the loss of my father."
"I hope he will get over it soon, before it is too late."

                • The Chinese envoy, Wang Xishi, listened dispassionatly to the proceedings, his face betraying nothing. Then, an aide hurried to his side, and whispered something into his ear. After a moment, Wang nodded slightly, and turned to the man sitting beside him.

"Take my place for a while, Lu."

The man bowed briefly. "Yes, Lord Wang."

With that, Wang stood up, and with a sweep of his robes, followed the envoy out of the chamber, and to the private chambers allocated to the Chinese delegation. Inside, another envoy awaited with his own retinue.

Once there, Wang smoothed his robes, and got to his knees. He bowed his head, and raised his hands clasped together in a show of respect. As if on a hidden cue, the other envoy took out a scroll, and unrolled it, reading it out loud.

"The Son of Heaven, Emperor Tang Gaozu, has hereby decreed that you are to disregard your previous instructions. Know that His Excellency is personally conducting a negotiation with the Tsar of Bulgeria. Therefore, you are to concentrate your efforts upon the barbaric threat further east, and thus participate fully in the negotiations. You are also to relay the news to Prince Asoka of India, and arrange a meeting with him and the Egyptian envoy. Further instructions are contained within this sealed scroll herewith. You shall follow henceforth the new mandate bestowed upon you, on pain of death. So says Emperor Tang Gaozu, the Son of Heaven."

The envoy rolled up the scroll, and fished out a second, smaller one from within the folds of his robes. He placed it into Wang's waiting hands, then turned, and left with his entourage.

Now relatively alone, Wang stood up, and allowed a slight frown to cross his face.

"Just what is the Emperor thinking?"

                  • This morning I was awakened by a male Caw-Caw bird calling for a mate outside my tent. The sun was barely visible through the dense jungle when I crawled out of my tent to find the encampment still asleep. A heavy dew clung thickly to the leaves and fronds of every plant in a glorious shimmer of reflected light. For an all to brief moment I felt at peace. This is the type of country I was born to and I only find respite here amongst the workers. Through the foliage I could see a messenger approaching and I closed my eyes, so that I would not have to lose the moment. But as quickly as the startled Caw-Caw bird took to flight, my peace was interrupted by the affairs of the world.

Had I known now what I knew when my people first asked me to take leadership of this great nation, I might have asked them to find someone else. But I did accept this burden, and so when the messenger told me he bore news from the outside world, I opened my eyes and suddenly the dew did not sparkle in the trees so much as seem to weigh them down to the point that they looked to be wilting. The messenger told me what I already knew, the world was in chaos.

A new religion called Islam, whose prophets taught that it had to be spread by force, had sprung up far to the east and a war had begun. Our English neighbors were begging for our assistance because they feared they were going to be invaded from the north. The Carthaginians to our north had amassed an army on our boarder claiming it was just a military exercise. The Viking nation asks us to join them in their effort to control the aggression of the Bulgarians to our south. The Bulgarians ask us to help them if they are attacked by the Chinese. It seemed the entire world was on the verge of war.

I find myself having to choose where my nations allegiance lies. A nation without allies is not in a strong position, but a nation allied with a losing team is no better off. The orders I give to my messenger are my best effort to remain neutral, but I fear I will not be able to maintain my neutrality. If I want to keep the English happy, I draw the wrath of the Vikings and the Carthaginians. If I don’t join against the Arabs, I offend those nations that would halt the spread of Islam, but If I do join against the Arabian threat, I risk becoming a target for the Islamic holy war. If the Western alliance attacks Bulgaria, they will be offended if I don’t help them but if I do help them, the Chinese will invade me from the west. How can I remain neutral amid all this chaos?

The rising sun’s blinding glare through the jungle’s canopy gave me my answer. Like an arrow between the eyes it hit me, the Incas could not remain neutral. Sooner or later one of our neighbors would invade us and destroy all that we had built. Staring strait at the Sun, I resolved to prepare my nation for war, and like an omen from the gods, I heard a female Caw-Caw bird answering.

                    • The Islamic war on all Terra!

Open letter to all nations of Terra

From: Wang Yung, Choson's trade master and general advisor

It grieves me greatly to see and hear the diplomatic too-ing and fro-ing whilst our nation suffers greatly at the hands of barbaric INVADERS.

In an attempt to stave off the holocaust the Choson originally offered the Arabs Astronomy and our world map before the war started. This was Tan-gun II’s last peaceful attempt before I was put in total command. The offer was rejected.

                      ---

The Arabs then declared war on the Celts because they were taking too much time to decide whether to take up vassalage to the Arabs. Vassalage!! Yes my friends, in one fell swoop the Celts had but no choice to take up this option for, otherwise, the Arab menace would have ripped their nation apart.

Upon the Arab declaration of war the Choson immediately were at war with the Arabs to support our long standing allies, the Celts. We do not blame them for becoming vassals – they had no choice.

With the Celts vassalaged and with no loss of troops the Arabs did pour into the Choson kingdoms with their Camel Archers and other foot soldiers.

The Bulgarians immediately declared war on the Choson and have been providing assistance to the Arabs in one form or another. Beware the bulgars and note their spoilt reply to our suggestion that the Indians receive preferential treatment in our New World proposals. However, I now note a change of tone from the Bulgarians and will return to this point later. It is interesting to note the lack of conversion to Islam by the Bulgarians and the Arabs single-mindedness against just the Choson.

                      ---

As a nation, as the Indians have pointed out, the Arabs were quick to caution the Vikings and other nations from war-mongering and yet the founding of a new religion changes these same Arab peoples into bloodthirsty and maniacal persecutors.

                      ---

They attacked us hard near the isthmus of the Choson peninsula – Koguryo.

Their first wave ended in disaster for them. The Arabs attempted several more advances but failed each time and they retreated to Medina where they quickly built city walls fearing our reprisals. But we stood our ground and refrained from overt attack. This is both a strategic position by the Choson and also a religious position, for my great leader, Tan-gun II, does NOT want to see any Choson expansion other than with his new found tribal friends in the New World.

War is anathema to Tan-gun II and this is why I have taken command of this situation, with his blessing. He trusts my advice absolutely.

He wants me to make it clear to the nations of Terra that the Arab invasion has caused many of you toi be unable to take advantage of out generous New World offers. If it were not for the war the Indians, Egyptians, Vikings, Carthaginians, Celts and the Kushren would all have had a city in the New World. It is the Arabs who thwart progress for mankind and it is the Arabs you have to collectively deal with.

I fear that the Viking appeal for a strong alliance to march on Arabia may be the only way forward. I’d like to think that Asoka’s peaceful process (in the same vein as Tan-gun II) were possible but alas I have been on the frontlines of recent battles and I have seen the hate and malice that is poured into the hearts and minds of the once peaceful Arab peoples by Muhammed.

                      ---

I can not believe that the Choson have weathered such a storm of aggression for so long and NOT lost any ground, yet the nations of Terra are only just now talking of strategies to curb the Arab menace.

My great friend Haakon of the Vikings is a wise man too and can see that the only way to dissipate the Arabs threat is to immediately open up a western front.

Some considerable help has been provided to us by several nations of Terra but the real help for all of YOU is to attack now! I see no other option, except that in private negotiations the Arabs did sue for peace but wanted Astronomy and the Choson peoples to all convert to Islam. Clearly this was not an option. They asked for a counter-offer.

I gave the Arabs the impression that I might consider gifting just Astronomy but I never had any intention of doing so. They required a swift response but I believe it is important to see how the situation is discussed in diplomatic circles around Terra and have found the counsel, insight and wisdom of the peaceful Asoka and strong Haakon as well as others, most helpful in defining the full extent of of the current crisis.

The assistance received by several nations during the war has been greatly appreciated.

                      ---

Currently there is a massive Arab troop build up in Medina, all licking their wounds from previous battles but poised for further attacks. If no deal is reached Muhammed threatens to maintain war until the Choson are defeated.

It must be remembered that the Islamic Revolution has gained nothing from attacking the Choson but has earnt only foes abroad for them in the West. No wonder they desire peace but only on advantageous terms to them.

All the same I’ll re-iterate the offer made by Tan-gun II in the peaceful era prior to the war and add our additional requirements:

                      1) Celts to be made a free nation, free to choose any religion
                      2) Vienne to be ceded to the Arabs if the Celts still agree with this deal
                      3) Medina to be ceded to the Celts
                      4) Bulgarians to immediately declare peace with the Choson and pursue peaceful settlements with Egypt and China – the outcome of which dictates Choson favour regarding the New World deals.
                      5) Arabs to declare peace with the Choson
                      6) No technology bribes are any longer on offer
                      7) The Arabs of course are free to choose any religion and the Choson will work peacefully with the Arabs and show no retribution or revenge.

I remind you all that failure in this matter will condemn us all to an eternity of darkness and despair; but if so there will eventually only be one outcome and that is the total destruction of Arabia by the Western alliance

                      • This is very worrisome

The Bulgarians immediately declared war on the Choson and have been providing assistance to the Arabs in one form or another.
Please Tan-gun II take a better look at your diplo relations, and get back to us Bulgaria has never declared war against you. We fear that you are becoming delusional because of all the commotion you are expirencing against the Arabs. There is no war between our two nations. And we demand an apology.

                        Also:

the bulgars and note their spoilt reply to our suggestion that the Indians receive preferential treatment in our New World proposals.
We have no idea what you are aiming to achive with those false statements, all we know that you said that all nations on terra would be treated as equal towards the new world. After we were the 1st nation to contact you openly about the new world, we were told that you will deal first with other nations and then with the bulgarians. So please don't talk about being fair and giving all an equal chance to go to the new world.

                        • "Abhay, is there any news from the Viking lands?"
                          "No mylord."
"Did my brother still not answer the Bulgarians?"
"Not as far as I know, mylord."
                          "Any other news?"
"Well, actually the conflicts are getting more complicated. The Choson have accused the Bulgarians of declaring war to them. The Bulgarians denied that. Though the relation the two of them seems to be without much hope."
"There should be someone who would be an intermediation between them, I'm sure they could figure it out with a little help."
"You could be that mediator, Mr. Ghandi!"
"I could, but I won't. My brother is the ki... prince of India, I will follow him."
"But he has fallen into madness!"
"Dark are his thoughts, but I believe there's light at the end of the tunnel."
"Mahatma, you have to stand up, remove your brother from his post since he's not capable to lead our people!"

Ghandi sighted and looked troubled at Abhay.
"You are brave Abhay, and I do appreciate your loyalty to me and to India, but some things can't be done that easily. An argument over the throne between the two princes of India may split our nation into two parts!"
"He must be killed, mylord! One word from you is enough!"
                          "He is my brother"
"He doesn't recognize you as his brother anymore"
"But I still do see him as my brother and I still love him!"

Abhay bowed for Prince Mahatma Ghandi and said: "If you ask me to, I'll have patience, but please don't hestitate to do that what's good for you, your nation and all of Terra!"
                          Abhay left the room.

"What did he say?" Mahavir asked to Abhay.
                          "We have to wait"
"We still have to wait? There's not much time left Abhay!"
"That's what I told him. I suggested that.... that I would only need one word from him....
But he can't give it. They're brothers, Mahatma loves Asoka for the single reason that they are brothers..."
"We must help Mahatma to do the one thing that he can't do...."
                          "Without his approval?"
"Without his approval! The madman can't continue to lead our people. And I will take care that he won't lead us for much longer"
                          "But you can't....."
"I can and I will. Do I have your support?"
                          "Well, not officially.........."
                          "This conversation has never happened."
                          "It never has" Abhay concluded.

Mahavir walked away and started to prepare his mission.

                          • Asoka was laying in his bed, in tears.
                            Someone knocked on the door.
                            Time passed.
Someone was knocking on the door again.
                            No response.
"Prince Asoka? I am a messenger from Emperor Tang Gaozu. I have a message from him for you"
"Come in" Asoka said with a voice full of anger
The messenger came in and handled the message to Asoka. Asoka read it. Then he faced the messenger again. For a moment it seemed like Asoka would kill the messenger with a word of hate, then a glimp of wisdom was seen in his eyes, like the son breaking through the clouds. "I will answer your Emperor today" Asoka told the Messenger. The messenger left.

                            • Open letter to all nations of Terra

We the Bulgarians feel that after being pushed, harassed, wrongly accused, called enemies by some, and blamed for things that we have nothing to do with fear that it has come time for us to make the following statement: Bulgaria is a peaceful nation and will continue to be such. We feel that Bulgaria is being blackmailed and picked on by no reasons what so ever. We have answered over and over and defended ourselves from false accusations for years now. The only issue we feel that we weren’t right about was the expansion towards the Egyptians long time ago; recent negotiations have resolved this matter with beneficial consequences for both parties.

Last but not least if we are to be attacked by some aggressor on such groundless accusations, mark our words this war will be fought till the end till one perishes.

                              • Ghandi walked into Asoka's room.
"Why is everybody walking in this room like it's a public coffeehous?" Asoke trowed at him.
"I'm not everybody, I'm Mahatma Ghandi, Prince of India, your brother."
"Leave me alone, I need time to think important matters of state"
"You are not thinking, you are burying yourself into dark thoughts that will not solve anything for you or for us."
"What do you know about these things."
"I am a prince of India, Asoka, just like you."
"You are...? Then tell me, what should we do, my brother, Prince of India" Asoka said with a sudden sweet voice.
"What was in the message you received from the Chinese Emperor?"
"What do you know about the secret messages I receive from foreign leaders?"
"We should not alianate our allies from us, Asoka."
"We? WE? Listen, 'Prince'. Since when are 'we' leading this nation? If it is up to you the Indians will be the vassals of the Chinese, the Bulgarians and the Vikings, serving all mankind as slaves because you are to good to take strong decisions. There is no prince inside you. Your father was the king but he didn't gave you any royal insight"
                                "'Was' the king?"
"HE IS THE KING, and now you be gone"
                                Ghandi left the room.

                                "Gotam" Asoka yelled.
"Gotam, get here in my room, I have a mission for you"
Asoka's servant entered the room. "How can I serve you?" Gotam asked.
                                "Kill my brother."
                                "Kill who?"
                                "Kill my brother."
                                "But he's your brother....."
"He's after the throne of my father. He desires nothing but power and will do everything to get rid of me. Now go and kill him but make sure that no trail leads back to me."
                                "As you have ordered, mylord."
Gotam left the room, ready to fullfill the wishes of his master.
