  • For those who have totally lost sight of the Indian political situation a small overview

Lala Lajpat Rai = King of the Indians, nobody heard from him since he left India to negotiate peace between the Romans and the Bulgarians.

Asoka = The first son of the king, Prince of India, ruling India in the name of his father.
Asoka was a wise man, like his fater, but lost his mind since he lost his father. His madness is taking over him limiting his capability to lead the Indians through these dark days of terror.

Ghandi = the 2nd son of Lala Lajpat Rai, the king. He is a wise man, like his father. He tries to help his brother through these difficult times and still believes that Asoka will regain his wisdom. He still loves his brother. Asoka hates Ghandi though and fears that Ghandi will try to replace him.

Abhay = servant of Ghandi. Abhay wants to replace Asoka with Ghandi but Ghandi doesn't want to hear about this since he still loves his brother and believes that he will recover.

Mahavir = a 2nd servant of Ghandi who wants to regain order by murdering Asoka without the permission of Ghandi.

Gotam = The servant of Asoka. Asoka ordered Gotam to kill Ghandi.

    At this very moment:
Asoka is not doing anything but laying in his bet, mourning the loss of his father, while still not accepting this loss. He is not answering to his allies, he left the meeting arranged by the Viking leader Haakon. He has sent several messages to foreign leaders. He's currently doing nothing. He's also troubling the relations with the Bulgarians who whe accuses of hoding his father.

Gotam is making plans to murder Ghandi.
Mahavir is making plans to murder Asoka.

        Simeon of the Bulgars,

It is I, Wang Yung who at the frontline of battle has been mis-informed and I turn have mis-informed you and the world as to the relations between our nations. I apologise for this mix-up and do declare that no state of war exists between our two nations.

Tan-gun II is most displeased with this error of mine as it has come to his notice as well.

Please understand that bloodied bodies and men at arms are all arouind me. Our land is saturated with our blood and is mixed with the blood of our enemy.

I hope you can forgive this dipomatic miscalculation.

        Yours regretfully,

Tzar Simeon of the Bulgarians has been informed by your rush and calculative trade decision. We regret to inform you that relationships between out two nations are growing cold. The Tzar was deeply hurt to hear his kingdom called a war-like. Your pessimism towards the so called trading block u mention has further insulted our Tsar. Our trade partners are not of your concerns and should no be used to downgrade our past commitments and negotiations with you. Seeing that u have demoted our friendship to a secondary one has damaged even further our hard work of bringing our two civilizations closer.
          Simeon,

This was our original respose to your request for New World dealings:

          --

"2) The Bulgarian offer is a 'transparent' trade of gold for a galleon, terms to be agreed.

This is why Tan-gun II stayed out of such matters. He detested materialism but appreciated Wang Yung's trade acievements and the resultant well-being for the Choson people. Tan-gun II would probably just give them the galleon.

However, Wang Yung weighed up the pros and cons of such deals:

Pros: Bulgarians friendly, love of the sea and exploration.

Cons: Bulgarians already have as many cities as the Choson and are war-like, having just conquered the Romans and acquiring new lands already. The Bulgarians seemed to be in a trade bloc with the Arabs and the English and vaguely suggested deals with the Choson in the past have not come to fruition.

This deal may not happen immediately as other nations with more severe population pressures may be ahead of the queue.

But Wang Yung liked the Bulgarians and is prepared to talk more, particularly as to the amount of gold that may be on offer.

One galleon represents the pinnacle of a massive research line and must have a high value.

Tan-gun II would despair at the political basis of such dealings. He received only a brief summary of Wang Yung's processes."

          --

Maybe something was lost in translation, but "transparent" is a compliment. This means you were open and honest in your dealings with us. We appreciate that. Is this your understanding?

We believe our response was a fair response that warranted further negotiation on your part and we can not fully understand the abrupt rejection of negotiations.

Surely you can see our point that some nations like India, Egypt and China are squeezed for land area and deserved more rapid assistance in settling the New World?

This does not mean that we wouldn't assist you.

The only way we can help all nations of Terra seek settlements in the New World is if the Choson has the resources to assist. This means galleons and units as we are unable to trade Astronomy.

But the Arab invasion has forced us to use all available resources in our war of defence.

If you and the Indians can assist in this matter it would be appreciated and if we can assist you we will. Tan-gun II had ordered a galleon be gifted to you before the war broke out but I delayed in this transaction.

However, you must understand how diplomatic deals are brokered and some nations do get their hands tied. I must consult some of them before entering private negotiations because I am very loyal to those nations who have sworn support for the Choson and our freedom.

I just need your understanding and recognition that several smaller nations are worthy and needyt of new World benefits before the larger nations.

Maybe we can set aside our mis-understandings and work towards peace and prosperity for the entire Terra.

          Yours,

          Wang

          • At the Viking conference

Wang Xishi frowned, as the aide completed his report. He stood, and started pacing up and down his private chambers.

"This complicates matters," he muttered. Then he spun to face the aide. "Ready a mount. I must return to Chang'an post-haste to speak with His Excellency."

            "But-"

"Sima Qian will take my place in my absense, he will know what to do. Now hurry, time is of the essense!"

            ---

The Imperial Palace, Chang'an, several days later

Tang Gaozu gazed out from his balcony, as his prime minister Xi Lishen attended him. Further in the palace, the Bulgerian emissary had retired for the day, as had the Egyptian ambassandor.

"What do you think, Prime Minister?"

"The situation in India is quite alarming to be sure, Your Excellency. But now is the chance to act. Your Excellency has only just established this dynasty, and what better way to bring glory to your reign by such a move?"

            "Mmm..."

"You must be decisive, Your Excellency."

The Emperor did not reply, but instead continued gazing out into the horizon. Beyond, a group of Chinese junks were just barely visible. At length, he spoke.

"Let us await the reply of Asoka. Then we make a decision. In the meantime, continue to train our men in the use of the Zhuge Nus."

            "As you wish, Your Excellency."

            • Haakon stands on his balcony, leaning on the railing looking east. A great evil lies over the lands there. Storms ravage the eastern seas, dark clouds blot out the sun. And the alliance of free people of the west is failing. Asoka had grown evermore distraught and erratic, and had eventually left the summit. Neither the Carthagian, English or Egyptian delegations had contributed much. And the Chinese ambassador had left, leaving his attache in charge, a skilled man, but without authority to make decisions or commitments.

Erling, fetch me my armour. The time for words has passed, and they have amounted to nothing. Now comes the time for action. If the people of the west will not defend themselves, then they deserve to perish at the curved blades of the Arabs. But we will not be swayed. We have seen evil and we will act against it. India is in turmoil, China may seek to exploit this, Egypt is ever isolationist and silent. The northern alliance has not even been formally established due to the resignation and unresponsiveness of England and Carthage. I have failed. The petty Kings of the West cannot see clearly and I have failed to lead them. I have but one honorable choice. To lead by example. Come, today we sail east.

              • General Khalid bin Walid stood on a hill over looking the lush land of the Celts. Not a bird stirred. All was quiet, all was dark. It gave him an uneasy feeling. Three weeks have passed since he sent their ultimatum, and still no answer.

"They are plotting something," he thought. "Conferring with their Choson masters on how to assemble defenses against us. "

"The Celtic people have long been slaves of the evil Choson. For centuries their people have followed the God of Abraham, and indeed much of the people still follow their ancient faith, but directed by their Choson masters the corrupt Celt ruling class has been attempting to stamp out the people's faith in favor of the heathen Buddhism."

General Khalid stoops down to pick up a handful of dirt from the top of the hill. Looking again off to Celtia he feels its coarseness. Turning the dirt around in his hand as he turns around the current situation in his mind.

"The Prophet has been sent by Allah to return all good people of the world to the light of Islam, to the pure faith of their ancestors. Choson oppression of the Celts cannot be allowed to continue. Leaders who betray their people and force them to follow false gods have no right to rule."

Khalid looks behind him now, the armor of his Arab troops shone in the rising sun brilliantly, but dust swirled around the armor sitting in piles. The camels were in pens, bows and swords laid against a post, men reclined in their tents slow to awake. With disgust the General begins to walk down from the hill.

"The Celts delay in hopes our men will lose their passion to fight and their resolve to continue," Khalid thought, "We cannot delay any longer. We must ride, and we must ride now."

                • "Sir, a report from the northern front!"

Abu Bakr, the Prophet's most trusted friend and confidant reached out his hand to grab the sealed note from the messanger. Glancing it over a smile crept onto his lips. He quickly went back inside the tent and gave the note to Muhammad.

"General Khalid was successful!," Abu Bakr exclaimed, "Carrodia has fallen with minimal casualties! The corrupt Celtic regime has been disposed and a right-thinking, Islamic ruler has been put in their place loyal to us."

Muhammad looked over the note, his face intense but expressionless.

"Allah smiles on us and guides our hand in battle," he said, "however our challenge has just begun. The Choson empire is the greatest on terra. Their sailors have brought back many riches from the world across the seas. Their men are entrenched behind the mighty walls of their desert fortress. This battle will be most unlike the victory in the north."

"Allah will guide us further, we cannot lose."

God's Prophet Dies, Abu Bakr Named Caliph

The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, after spreading the final revelation of Allah and setting off a wildstorm as the wisdom of Islam spread throughout Arabia and throughout the world has died.

Camped outside of Medina as part of the on going siege of the Choson fort his health had deteriorated from illness until his final passing a week ago. The Prophet's friend and co-leader of Arabia, Abu Bakr, has been named the first Caliph of the Muslims after a vote by the top Muslim leaders, as is the Arabian custom.

There have been some dissent among Arabian Muslims, with a minority believing Muhammad's (peace be upon him) true successor to be his son-in-law, Ali ibn Abi Talib. Some violence has broken out between the supporters of various sides. Despite the inner strife, the majority however have thrown their support behind Abu Bakr who is recognized as the true Caliph and successor.

                    Celts Liberated from Choson Domination!

In a desire to return the Celtic people to the faith of the One True God, the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, has sent General Khalid bin Walid north to demand the corrupt Buddhist regime submit to the will of their people, and of Allah.

With no response, General Khalid invaded, capturing the city of Carrodia with few losses. For crimes against their own people, and for crimes against Allah, the defenders were put to the sword to send a message to other heathens who would deny their people the right to worship Allah.

The message got through, and the Celtic King surrendered to General Khalid. At last the multitude of Jewish tribes in the Celtic lands had seen victory as the infidel Buddhist regime came tumbling down. Islam was declared the official state religion and the Celts pledged fealty to the Arabs.

Upon hearing the stunning victory, the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, declared General Khalid to be the "Sword of Allah".

                    Choson Invade, War Rages On

After deposing the Choson puppet in Brennia, the infidel Choson propogators of the false god Buddha declared war on the Arabs. Their anger at losing their client state shown clear, and their corrupt faith shown to be the oppressive force it truly is as their armies gathered on the border with both the Celts and Arabs.

The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and his commander Abu Bakr personally directed a massive Muslim army to the south to head off the threat posed by the Choson. Empowered by the victory in the north, General Amr ibn al-A'as led the Muslim army to attack the Haengju Desert Fortress northeast of Medina.

As they approached the Haengju fortress walls fire rained down on them from above. Unnatural explosions struck their troops killing many. The Muslim forces were unnerved by the heathen Choson magic, but they pressed on. The battle lasted for several days. General Amr responded to the Choson witches with their mighty trebuchets which inflicted much damage on the infidels. There were considerable casualties on both sides but ultimately General Amr was forced to withdraw to Medina.

The Battle of Haengju Sanseong would ultimately be considered a defeat for the Muslim forces, but due to considerable Choson losses it by no means decided the war. A long siege between the two sides began after that battle. Both sides looking warily at each other, each waiting for someone to make the first move.

Sadly, due to his untimely death, the Prophet would not live to see the ultimate success of this campaign. His successor Abu Bakr however pledged there would indeed be success ultimately. "The infidel Choson must not be allowed to impose their vile Buddhist teachings upon the eastern world."

Arabian Society Restructured as Islam Spreads

For decades Arabian society has lived in darkness and civil war. The golden age of Dawud and Suleyman was over and the people had fallen away from the true faith of their ancestors. God's commandments were ignored and forgotten as the people embraced new, pagan gods. Falling to sin the nation was consumed by tribal conflict and darkness.

However despite the Arabs forsaking their God, their God, Allah, had not forsaken them. He sent one final prophet, one final messanger to bring his people back to right worship of the one true God. The Prophet Muhammad began receiving God's revelations and began preaching to the people of the righteous path in life and convincing them to once again follow the God of Abraham. Over time he was successful and the many tribes of Arabia eventually embraced Islam.

The Prophet preached a doctrine of egalitarian equality, charity, peace and submission to Allah. The Prophet denounced aristocratic privilege, rejected hierarchy, and adopted a formula of the career open to the talents. He taught increased respect and status for women, slaves, and an end to tribal and racial divisions.

Islam recognizes no man-made artificial distinctions based on color, tribe, race, nationality, or otherwise. As all people come from the original couple - Adam and Eve - they are all one family and therefore equal before Allah. What distringuishes people from each other is their commitment to Islam.

The Choson: Our Enemy, an Examination

The Choson are a brutal, barbarian people who inhabit the cold Korean penninsula at the extreme south east end of our continent. Their large section of land connects to the main continent at the Koguryo Isthmus, a narrow strip of land containing the infamous Haengju Fortress that has been sieged by Arabian troops for decades.

The Choson obey a emperor, Tang Gaozu, whose claim to power is nothing more than that his father was emperor. This person is given absolute power over their society. He controls his population through a massive bureaucracy and fear.

Tang Gaozu and his predacessors are the most bloodthirsty regime on Terra. Perhaps the most bloodthirsty regime in the history of the world. Under his watch a system of brutal slavery has been enhanced and expanded. Whipping their people to extract every bit of labor and energy their weary muscles can muster, the brutal methods has led to the deaths of untold hundreds of thousands of Choson civilians. Tang Gaozu fuels the engine of war with the crushed bones of his people.

The Choson are a secretive and deceitful people too. They pretend they are a peaceful nation assaulted by Islam, yet it is they who declared war on Arabia. They pretend the war was our doing, yet it is they who started it, and now they threaten Arabia's total destruction.

Furthermore they claim their religion is a peaceful one, yet they force their client states to adopt it. The Kushren and Celts have long been Jewish people following the God of Abraham, and indeed the vast majority of their people follow Allah, yet both societies have adopted the infidel Choson Buddhism and persecuted the Jewish majority. The vile Choson emperors have forced their corrupt faith on the eastern people for centuries.

Despite their brutal slavery and religious intolerance, the Choson have acheived great things as a people. Their sailors are recognized as the world's best having discovered a new land across the great oceans with many new and wonderous treasures and peoples. Their science is legendary and the most advanced in the world. Their civilization is the largest and most successful in the world and should not be underestimated.

                    Egyptian Pharaoh Unveils Magnificent Pyramids

Under construction for generations, the proud Egyptian people have at last unveiled the mighty tombs for their Pharaohs of the past. Long said to have been left to rot out in the sun, or cast aside in caves, the remains of their past rulers have finally found a final resting spot worthy of their glory. The magnificent pyramids dominate the skyline of Thebes.

                    Viking Hordes Threaten Southern Neighbors

A war of words and saber rattling has begun in the northern wastelands of the continent. Viking and Carthaginian people still harboring deep resentment over defeats centuries ago by a strong English tribal chief have renewed their demands and threats to their southern neighbors. The Inca and especially the English fear for their lives from a resurgent and hostile Viking power.

After years of threats of war, the Viking king, Haakon, now claims his threats are the result of Islamic "aggression" in the south. However such claims ring hollow as threats began long before the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was born.

The Caliph Abu Bakr, says he is monitoring the situation closely in light of threats upon Arabia itself. More worrying are signs that the Vikings may be cooperating with the vile Choson.

                    • The Fang Dynasty was to be known as the dynasty during which China saw a major revolution in military affairs, something that had been started by the Sui before it. Fang Shike, the longest reigning Emperor in Chinese history, gave the army his fullest attention, and soon every city was manned with an elite corps of Zhuge Nu infantry. The repeating crossbow was now the most fearsome weapon in the Chinese arsernal.

At the same time, Fang Shike also founded a city that was named after him. Fanghai, modelled after the nearby Shanghai, was to be the last major city founded in Ri Ben. Already, China was beginning to burst at the seams as she reached the limits of her expansion. But that was the least of Chinese concerns. Late in Fang's reign, Arabia embarked on a jihah against all 'non-believers' of Islam, and Celtia quickly fell to their furious assault. By the time Fang passed away, the Arabs and the Choson were locked in a bloody war, and the Vikings themselves were preparing for battle.

Fang's successor, Fang Erdi, got off to a promising start, but Heaven did not look favorably upon him, and he died a scant 2 years into his reign from a sudden illness. Thereafter, a struggle for power broke out within the court, before the then-prime minister, Li Yuan, emerged triumphant, and declared the start of the Tang Dynasty. He himself became Tang Gaozu.

The new Emperor faced an unenviable task. To the south, India was undergoing a succession crisis of her own, with agents of Asoka and Gandhi maneuvoring against each other. To the north, the Vikings and the Carthagians prepared for war, and the Incans were embarking on their own mobilization program. To the east, Bulgeria eyed her neighbors with increased nervousness. And far off, Arabia and the Choson continued to struggle for supremancy. At home, the bureacracy was becoming bloated, and the generals were becoming a powerful political force to be reckoned with - a legacy of the Fang dynasty. Even the Ainu of Ri Ben were once again becoming restive, with sporadic riots breaking out in Shangdu. A less auspicious start to a dynasty could hardly be imagined.

"-mixed me up with that imbecile Tan-gun? That is an insult of the highest nature! I will not stand for this. Xi, Wang!"

                        "Your Excellency?"

"Wang, you will ride back to the Vikings this instant. Tell them that we will join the fight against the Arabs. Xi, prepare our catapults and infantry. We march at first light."

"But your Excellency! It is indeed true that the barbarians have insulted you, but consider that the barbarians are right engaged with fighting each other. Isn't it better to let these distant tribes wear each other out? Besides, Bulgeria should be our more immediate concern, and there is still the question of India."

Tang Gaozu spun to face his Prime Minister. For a moment, a look of absolute, terrifying rage filled his face. To his credit, Xi Lishen stared impassively back. Then, slowly, the Emperor's face cleared.

"Perhaps you are right. But walk with me for a bit, will you? Wang, you may attend if you wish. I shall value your input."

Wang Xishi bowed. "Yes, your Excellency."

                        • "Wang, are the Choson being mis-understood? Do the Arabs know the difference between Wang and Tang?"

[ First name terms is a sign of the egalitarian society of the Buddhists ] "Tan, I believe Muhammad has made a diplomatic blunder and fuelled the probabilities of a western alliance. I believe we should gift a galleon to any nation that actively fights Islam."

"Hmm, that is interesting. How many do we have?"

                          "Xxxxx Tan."

"Excellent. The arrogance and mis-information being provided by the Arabs speaks for itself and others are not fooled."

"This is good to see. Heartening"

"See what overtures can be made to the free nations of Terra. And, another thing, I sense both a hatred of BUT a respect of our Buddhist culture by the Arabs. We have never forced religion on any nation and are quite happy for the Kushren and Celts to choose as they wish. BUT it is the Arabs who have FORCED Islam on the Celts. Can't they see this?"

"The point is they may be brought to the peace table by international pressure. What is our position?"

"I believe we have made our offers clear and need to turn up the heat by seeking an international accord to suggest to Abu Bakr a more democratic view of an individual's religious choice."

"Affirm that ALL religions will be tolerated in Choson."

                            ____________________

It has come to the attention of this newspaper that a serious and regretable error was made in yesterday's edition. Somehow the name of the Choson Emperor, Wang Yung was mixed up with the name of the much respected Chinese emperor, Tang Gaozu.

In light of the currently tense international situation we realize that this error may appear to be a reflection on our nation's leaders or perhaps incorrectly seen as an intentional barb thrown toward the Chinese people. We cannot state emphatically enough that this is not the case.

The error is simply that, an error, our reporting staff were working on a feature story on the many positive changes the Chinese emperor was making. This paper has much respect for such changes, including the equal distribution of land amongst its people, lowering taxes, and reforming the judicial system.

Translation work being done for this story crossed paths with translation work being done for the Choson piece that ran yesterday and the two names became crossed and given to the wrong reporters in each case. For this mistake we are deeply sorry and humbled. Those responsible for this error have been fired and are being held in captivity by direct order of the Caliph. The Caliph has passed along notice that their lives are in the hands of the Chinese emporer who their error has so gravely dishonored.

The Caliph and this paper assure the Chinese we harbor no ill feelings towards you and that this was simply an error that will be corrected at His Excellency's prerogative.

                            • An Open Letter to All Nations

There has been a great deal of misinformation and propaganda from our enemies seeking to vilify the just Arabian people. We seek to address these claims and prove the lies and ill-intent the Choson truly harbor, and the pure motivations of Arabia.

The truth of the matter is the Choson are the ones who seek to impose their religion on others. By force or negotiation it is no difference. For centuries the Kushren and Celtic people followed the one true God of Abraham. The same God, Allah, that we Arabs follow today and have always followed. The God of Issac, the God of Ishmael, the God of Dawud. Indeed we share blood and tribal ties with many of the Kushren and Celts. Their people have made pilgrimages to the Kaaba for as long as Arabs have.

This is not a historical curiousity either. Still today the vast majority of Celts and Kushren people worship Allah. We present a map of religious communities in both the Celtic and Kushren nations:

                              Celts:

                              Kushren:

Notice please how of the 7 current and former main Celtic cities, all seven are strong followers of Allah the one true God of Abraham, the Jewish God of the Arabs. Only 3 cities have any following at all of Buddha, and this is purely a recent phenomena. Yet the Choson supported Celtic government has officially adopted Buddhism as the state religion and has pushed it onto the people despite many protests from the Celtic people themselves.

The situation is the same looking north to the Kushren. Of their 6 major cities, 5 of them are Jewish cities, and only one, ONE, follows Buddha. Yet the Kushren government is officially Buddhist and has been persecuting Jews for decades.

It is no coincidence that the religion pushed upon the Jewish people of Celtia and Kushrena is the religion of the Choson. The puppet master who has controlled the leadership of both nations for decades. The Kushren have as much cause to embrace Hinduism as Buddhism, yet no, their government supports the religion of their Choson master.

So no, it is not we who seek to push our religion on unwilling nations, it is the Choson. The vast majority of the eastern nations of Kushrena and Celtia are Jewish kin of Arabia, yet they suffer under foreign masters preventing them from worshiping in peace. Arabia seeks to liberate these people from their cruel yoke of Choson oppression.

We will not see our people trod under by the brutal boot of Buddhism.

It is no accident our armies march on the Choson and the former regime of the Celts and not upon the Egyptian or Chinese. The western powers follow their own faith which is supported by their people. They do not worship a foreign god that displeases and oppresses the vast majority of their population. They rule in unison with their people. All we ask is for the same just life in the east.

                              • CHOSON PRESS RELEASE:

"The Choson requests that Abu Bakr, Caliph of Islam, ask the Celtric and Kushren nations as to their religious choices. At no stage was any pressure applied by the Choson Buddhists. These nations are free to choose as they will without any threat or pressure from Tan-gun II.

This is quite different to the forced oppression by Islam on the Celts.

Choson dares the Arabs to 'allow' the Celts free choice of religion.

Tan-gun II assures that whether they choose, Judaism, Islam or Buddhism is entirely up to them, although based on religions preached in the Celts cities it is difficult to see their choice as Islam. "
