as for the stories. yes, everything is made up. some things I have imported, like names and concepts, but I've made the spin my own. for example, Odin had two wolves named Geri and Freki, meaning Greed and Fierceness, but how he got them is my own telling, and their role may be elaborated as well, from my own thoughts. he also had many other pets, but as Greed = Financial and Fierce = Aggressive, I wanted the wolves as they fit the viking traits perfectly The rest of my stories are the same. I've taken some old Norse mythology names/ideas and made my own stories from them. (imagination + inspiration = decent stories)
I really enjoy writing them as well I also enjoy reading all the other posts as well. Cyber's are nice, and Frank's is very interesting, I love the approach And as noted, Prussia's pickup had me jumping up and down on my chair I wasnt planning on seeking a fullfledged alliance, more like a friendship pact/settlement agreement, so I was a little taken off guard when the Carthagians started howling ALLIANCE and of course when the Queen stood up and the room fell silent, I was sure there was gonna be trouble. a thrilling read with a good conclusion
Now Oluf just has to sell the alliance commitment to the Viking leaders...
maybe I'll throw something together later today. I've gotten a cold and I'm feeling lousy. but my writing is always best when I'm reduced. high fever = supreme inspiration (and no self-critiscism)

To me LzPrst is the 'story winner of the first session' to me (not that we have such an award )
His short Oden stories were really good. He has the ability to write short interesting stories. I'm struggling myself with that. My stories tend to become much to long. Great job dude! you wrote them yourself?
Frank gets a nod as well for giving a very original approach. I liked Prussia's pickup of LzPrst's story as well. I was dissapointed that the princess/queen/whatever agreed with the alliance though. I was that happy with the sudden change from all pro-viking alliance to a cold atmosphere but unfortunately Prussia didn't dare to take the privelege he got from LzPrst and FINISH the story by FINISHING the viking representant That's what I would've done
