I'll be around. My daughter is home from college so I may be starting a bit later than normal. BUT I"LL BE around.

Baron O called to say his computer fried, I doubt he'll get it back by tomorrow but you never know. I'll talk to him later.

Sir og, It might be worthwhile you going to sleep early and waking up for the game as a big game can last 6+ hours . The more the merrier and you can always leave your civ for the ai to play

What time do you expect the game to start?

Also I would like to know if you guys have a a certain code for things like diplomacy (e.g. Player A demands tribute from player B in exchnage for not attacking him. If player B accepts , does that mean that player A should keep his promise and not attack for a certtain number of turns?)
Also do you play random or everybody picks their own civ? How do you determine who picks first etc.

Hi guys, I wave word from RAH that he is tied up until 5:30 pacific time at least. However, he also said that if we wanted to start earlier, we could. Who would be able to start a game hosted by me at the usual time (4 pm Pacific). Please speak up.

I am willing to wait until 5:30 to accomodate RAH, but if the consensus is to try for an earlier start I am open to that too.

4p.m. pacific meaning midnight UK time (40 minutes) is a definite yes from me, as I don't think I want to wait until 1:30a.m. to start a game

To answer your questions, Sir Og we generally choose our civs, and allow duplicates if two people want the same race.

In diplomacy there are no official "rules" per se, but our little gaming group is a small community, and breaking an agreement will generally be remembered and taken into account for future relations....
