That was fun last saturday. That's the farthest I've seen a MP game go. It is too bad that to get that far, there will be casualities along the way.

But I must admit it was fun marching Prats down a human players throat

It was a good game last Saturday. Games with six or seven players are just more fun than smaller ones due to all the possibilities.

I had a good time, despite getting a really horrible start commerce and tech-wise. I managed to inflate my score by building lots of cities, but despite being nominally in first place most of the game, my tech was too backwards to repel the ginormous stack of catapults, maces, elephants, and trebs that Dominae sent my way.

Hopefully we can get another good sized game going this saturday too.

Yeah hated to see you leave the game since I was next on his list. They were calvary by the time they got there. I was researching like mad to get them before the attack started but I was about 10 turns short. His lead was good and it spelled death to the rest of us.

Hopefully I'll get off to a better start in the next one. But he sure kicked our butts. He played it well.

I can see why he wanted to play on a smaller world, and why we wanted to play on a larger one

You didn't miss much... I was off in a corner, also had crappy land. The only good news was that I took the Romans, bee lined to iron working, and actually had iron near my capital. Built some Prats, took some cities, and waited for death to come to my part of the world
