OK I see it now. I like the layout (i'd probably use the 3 most common times EST - Euro - Aussie). The problem is, again if I am reading it correctly. is that it says I am available from 10:00 am - 7pm (EST) on Friday and Saturday. I have no idea where you got that.
I will now cut and paste my availability (for the 6th time).
If you could update your calandar with this information, that would be great.
Your availability (all times EST(
Mon - Thur 20:00 - 01:00
Fri 20:00 - 03:00
Sat 12:00 - 03:00
Sun 12:00 - 01:00

Hmm, this doesn't look good!
Well, honestly I must say I am dissapointed.
Perhaps our players could revise their availability a bit? Maybe extend the time a little, if possible. I can maybe add a couple of hours here and there to the ends of my availability on Fridays. So instead of 13.00 I could be available, maybe 12.00. I don't think that really helps much, but I think if we all tried to maybe extend our availability we could find ourselves in a better position.
This is the last, and maybe biggest, hurdle we have to cross before we start this game. I think its going to work out, but we may have to schedule this game without a few of the people we originally planned on having. I mean, if necessary I can bow out if that will help at all.
Its a matter of weighing our options, whichever time we can get the most people playing should be our goal."Our cause is in the hands of fate. We can not guarantee success. But we can do something better; we can deserve it." -John Adams

Here is a copy of Cybershy's chart, with the areas where there are at least four players available marked...

I'm sorry for missunderstanding you Deitydude.
Can you please post your timeframe in 24H format and say which timezone it is as well. ie:
15:00-23:00 PST
Of course you guys should play without me if I'm the one who's unable to play when the rest of you guys can play.Formerly known as "CyberShy"

SATURDAY.....12:00 EST - SUNDAY.....03:00 EST
OK what this means is:
Friday's I get home from work at about 19:30 EST (7:30pm) and would need a 1/2 hour to start. So at 20:000EST (8:00pm) I would be able to play for at least 5 hours, or until 03:00EST SATURDAY (3:00am)
Saturday's I have to get some chores and errands done in the mornign so I am available to start at 12:00 EST (noon) - this is flexible. I can usually play as late as 3:00 EST SUNDAY (3:00am) before I pass out.
The only time that is totally un flexible is FRIDAY 20:00 EST. In another words, if I can stay awake I can play later than 3:00 EST and could probably start a little earlier, if necessary, on SATURDAY.
This is as clear as I can possibly be.

This post really means nothing.
I just want to say a few things at this juncture.
Before I do so I will admit, I am a little drunk right now.
First of all, I am very happy that you guys have put the effort you have thus far into this game. It has been difficult in the early goings of Civ IV, but I think with this group we have not only a fresh start as far as this game goes, but a fresh start with our diplogame civgroup.
As I've said before, I am fully aware that I personally may not be able to play in this game, but this doesn't prevent me from assuring this game's fruition. If we are to truly establish a diplogaming community, we have to understand that we can't be involved in every game, and further understand that by knowing this we set the stage for future games.
So, in summation, I would personally like to thank each of you for your input thus far. It has been great, and it has given an old diplo-vet like me new hope for the future of this genre. It is the best way to play the best game there is.
Thanks again everyone, and thanks for all that you've done.
Peace.
EDIT: (The entire post has not been edited) WOW, that sometimes made no sense, sorry, but I just wanted to tell you guys I appreciate your work so far.Last edited by The Capo; February 2, 2006, 01:52."Our cause is in the hands of fate.
