The worst I said was that Drill is better than CG... which is true 90% of the time. Otherwise the only person who has attacked you (not your play style, but you) is Ming and to a lesser extent rah- and he's Ming's brother so expect him to back him up.

as far as drill and CG, i agree for the most part, only disagree if your leaving one or two per city and never have them attack or for protecting choke points in forts or ports, otherwise i agree and give them drill too, i only give CG if they are to never attack just defend.

itd be nice if you could comprehend ALL thats been said, that ONE game i made alotta units with CG cuz of the invasion i thought was coming and i was so weak that game with 3 furious AI's and i also built an impressive offensive army but alas you havent caught on yet , oh and i also stated that game bout half my infantry had drill

alright im gonna copy and paste everything, brb.

If I'm a PRO civ my defenders are given Drill promos instead of City Defender ones. For the simple reason that SOMEday I'm gonna pull some of those guys away from defense and towards offense.

As long as you enjoy the game how you play it, that's fine... no point in playing if you aren't having fun. But I think even you, Brandon, have to admit that the general consensus is that your main style of play isn't optimal.

you said that on dec 23, i never said "all of my D units have CG", an assumption on your part.

you know i was gonna post alot of stuff that you guys neglected to understand or remember, this would be one long post if i do, basically re-read these posts and note the time and dates and then look at all of my points i made go unanswered.

giving your D units the drill promos make them good attacking units too along with good D unitss , oh and before you respond play some marathon so you know how long it takes to build units, you cant run lean then build once someone DoW's on you, then its too late, you gotta constantly build up your army with balance and try to keep in par with the top powers otherwise your "fresh meat" and gold/turn is of little concern when your nation is at stake.

and if you somehow run more than 30-40% gold slider in the mid to late game, you need to go down some levels and learn more aspects of the game, the only time your army should bring you to the point of bankruptcy (10-20% or less gold slider) is very early game, once markets comes it should be easy to at least have a 50% science or higher if you know how to play.

for the most part this went unanswered by many, only woodan acknowledged it. note the date, ive always said to use drill too, i never once said "every single D unit has CG and all you guys should do the same", now stating "I(me) always have and only put CG on my units is a waste" thats what ming's been saying day after day after day and now you theben even after this above post or not once have you guys produced a quote by me that does say "i always give ALL of my D units only CG promo" not once, this is getting old, if your going to talk blind thats fine, if you want to be accurate re-read all the posts, if you did theben re-read the posts, how did you miss this?

note that he didnt know what he was talking about, he assumed none of the defenders had drill and failed to acknowledge that i already said that they were for the coming two wars i had right afterward that vassalized them. he also fails to mention how many O units i built too before the invading force i thought was coming, i built 37 knights and 10 cats, but mostly crossbows for defense along the coast but most got drill while some got CG that were only going to defend.

i said this right afterward

maybe if you read what i said then youd know i built my "awesome D" following the invasion thinking that the actual real invasion would come but never did, try again

oh and yeah since i built up my forces i vassalized two civs, wow what a waste

you are an idiot too rah, you fail to see all the assumptions on his part, did you even note the times? you didnt even re-read the posts, i told him what i did but yet he kept up with the attack of that one game i clarified for him numerous times. if you feel its alright to make assumptions then once your corrected to keep saying the same assumptions even though its been clarified then you too are an idiot. if you want to continue to do this, i'll start assuming what i want and criticize you based on my own assumptions, its what you guys are doing, if you wont listen then i wont, if you want to attack based on your assumptions then so will i. you will never get me to stop as long as you guys keep it up, i'll keep doing what you guys are doing til your six feet under, the choice i leave to you.
