It's true that the Trebuchet has a 100% city defense bonus in cities in the Rise of Rome scenario. That's what I was after when I asked if you are playing with any mods.

In the screenshot, is the Swordsman you are attacking sitting inside a fort? Forts act as cities for combat, so that would explain the attack bonus for the Trebuchet (100 for the trebuchet + 75 for the city raider promotions).

Ahhhh... *lights come on* He's sitting on the Punic victory resource, which I believe counts as a fort.

2 bugs i noticed in Warlords playing Hotseat mode (normal campaign not scenarios)

        1) Each time the game switches between players, it forgets what map preferences were set - particularly the Show Resource icons on map option. Got a bit annoying reseting it every turn.

        2) In this same game I was playing as Rameses (Egypt). I had only 3 cities (it was still early in the game) and I had built Obelisks(monuments) in each as my Civ specific building. I had also allocated a Priest specialist in each town (as obelisk allows you to do) to get an early game Great Prophet. After a few turns i did get a great Prophet in my capital and built the Jewish Shrine but then i noticed a few turns later that my 2nd town had somehow lost it's Obelisk (and priest). Dunno where the hell it went but it was definately built and the great leader points were still at about 50% so there definately had been a priest there. But I didnt demolish it and there had been no war or civil unrest.

Bit of a weird one and I'm sorry i dont have a save to upload but i thought i'd post in case others have experienced the same.

        Great game though otherwise.

I'm gonna give the Vikings a go next

re: 2 - had you discovered Calendar? That makes Monuments and Obelisks obsolete.

Not really a bug, but rather something missing in the Civilopedia:

The new traits for warlords aren´t listed within the list of all leader traits which you can find under the topic "Leaders".

The individual leaders themselves on the other hand have the new traits and their effects correctly included in their leader description.

There's something wrong with the way civs are being placed on the map. There's a thread about this issue here:

Biology is still busticated. Farms built after you discover Biology still do not seem to get the +1 to food production bonus. Only the ones already built at the time of discovery get the bonus. I though this would've been fixed a lon time ago... Is this just a feature designed to aggrevate me?
The +1 only works if the farm is connected to fresh water (either next to a river or lake, or connected to one via a chain of farms).

I think it should be +2 for a farm if connected to water (irrigated) and "only" +1 if not connected to water.

aren't you only able to build unirrigated farms after Biology?

Other than on farming resources. But they could have been disconnected through pillaging or another improvement, of course.

Farms connected with fresh water through other civs can also be an issue. I don't know if open borders is required, or if you just have to not be at war.

So obelisks lose their extra priests ability after calendar? That kinda sucks, IMO.

                            Yes.
And then it should be +1 if unirrigated and +2 if irrigated (if I interpret the things written in the civilopedia about farming correctly [with +1 for irritagion and another +1 for biology])

Another thing missing in the Civilopedia (perhaps it is missing in Civ IV Vanilla, too, but I haven´t looked yet):

"Hills" in the list of terrain features.
There doesn´t seem to be an entry for this in the Civilopedia.

And in contrast to the things written in the (german) manual for the vanilla Version of Civ IV, hills seem to give +2 on production instead of +1 as listed (a not improved hill with plains (and no woods) for example gives me 3 hammers instead of the 2 (1+1) it should give me according to the values within the game manual)
Tamsin (Lost Girl): "I am the Harbinger of Death. I arrive on winds of blessed air. Air that you no longer deserve."

Anyone noticed that with your vassals you're able to have unlimited gold by turn.

                                Example:
                                First agreement:
I give Iron to my vassals and my vassals is giving me 30gold/turn.

So, as soon as this first agreement is made, I close the diplo windows and I open it again. He is able to give me 35gold/turn for cow.

And this go on, without any ending...

                                Anyone else experienced this?
