Whenever I try to turn the grid on the game will crash. In my earlier games (when I had graphics higher settings on) this did not happen. Also until I lowered graphics this would also happen when I went into the globe veiw.USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA!

BTW, this is definitely a Warlords thing. I tried it in vanilla Civ, giving my Palace the ability to create Colosseums in every city, and it functioned normally.Originally posted by Willem
I've been encountering some modding problems. I've added one of the Wonders from the scenarios to my game, and I tried to have one of them affect some buildings. But in game, the building chosen will be completely different than what I entered. For instance, I just tried to make the Theatre of Dionysus create a Colosseum in every city, but in the game it comes up as an Islamic Temple. I get the same effect when I try to use the building happiness modifiers too.

i assume you have comments in your buildinginfos.xml, like "(!-- mymod --)".
and that's exactly, why it doesn't work. i encountered the same problem with my mod.
the same problem exists also for the techinfos.xml.
/note: had to replace <, > with (, )"If 'The Flinstones' has taught us anything about history, it's that pelicans can be used to mix cement." - Homer J. Simpson

No comments in my file, I just added the building name to the appropriate area, and any other syntax that was required. In the case of building a Colosseum in every city, all I did was add BUILDING_COLOSSEUM between the Free Building tags. It worked just fine in vanilla, but in Warlords it showed up as building an Islamic Temple.Originally posted by 0d!n3oo3|Broad

Open Warlords and load one of these then turn on the grid - crash.

Well, I'd love to tell you, but it seems to be working now. I loaded up Warlords and the save, hit grid, and no crash. It had been a bit since I'd rebooted and had been playing cIV already, so I figured maybe that was affecting it, so I rebooted; still no crash on grid.Originally posted by alexman

I found that once I turned the grid on succesfully, in some other save game or in a new game, then it worked from then on.Originally posted by dregor

Playing the Viking scenario:
When you save and reload, it doesn't remember which cities you ransomed previously (the red circles disappear). This means you can ransom the same cities over and over.

OK alexman, you're gonna love this.
First off, my video card. This info comes from DXDIAG:
ATI MOBILITY RADEON Xpress 200 Series
128 MB RAM
1440 x 900 (32bit)(60hz)
Now, on to the results: If I zoom out using F11 it works. But if I zoom out by holding down the PgDn key it hangs or CTD's.
All test run with the Brennus 100BC save posted earlier.

He must be referring to video RAM, not the main RAM.Originally posted by Kuciwalker

You can run Civ 4 with that? Hell, you can run XP with that?
And yeah I had XP running on 800Mhz pentium3 with 128MB RAM. however, it can't run Civ 4 ....
