  • Italy was allied to Germany, i don't think it pissed Italy off that that fx Denmark surrendered.

If the AI wanted to change, he could have gotten something in return instead of just being silly and too proud to trade. Yea i know some humans are also like this, but AI's should represent good leaders, not proud fools.

      • Genghis Khan was maybe the best military leader TO DATE. He conquered so much, that even today no one have been close to building an empire close to the size of the Mongolian. That's what i know

        • 2nd/Third biggest. British Empire is obviously the biggest the world has ever known, followed by possibly Soviet Union.

          • Ok you are right about the British empire being a little bigger. I forgot them . But how can they combine all the all the communist countries, that's just ridicioulus.
I think the combined democratic countries is the largest empire then...

You declared war on us -3
Although I should have been the one who was pissed off
Just had that yesterday. -2 to most of my friends, for declaring war on their friend, who declared war on my vassal, but my Defencive Pact with another civ was also nullified, because I declared war...

Then after the short war, me taking a city from him, Peace... and after 10 turns, rinse and repeat. Additional -2... Angered the greatest military might enough to stop trading with me, and towards a confrontation...

Sure my vassal is weak, Augustus, but he is weak because my military, the 2nd mightiest in the world, made him so. He is under my protection, and you are nr. 4...

Though, one could use that as a trick to circumvent defencive pacts... Just declare war on the vassal.

                    That's definitely a known bug.

                    • One thing I'd consider a flaw, just last game, Shaka declared war on me... On the bloody bronze age, while we were on the opposite sides of the globe. That's like some bronze age saxon tribe declaring war on a similar japanese tribe...

This game needs to consider distances, for trade, warfare and such...

At least as it affects happiness in cities. I find this most irksome when a distant civ decalres war on me and I never see more than maybe one or two of their random uints. It only really becomes problematic, from a happiness point of view, if they are so strong (or furious) that they won't sue for peace unless they get something ridiculous, like a city, so you remain at war. I'm not sure the happiness modifiers for that scenario should be the same as a next door civ declaring war on you, pillaging your lands, killing your troops, etc.

                          • Is war weariness the same if you decalre war and if the AI declares war on you?

That would be horrible. The AI could cripple you by just declaring war on you from far away and the other AIs get ahead because you can't get out of war weariness.

                            That'd suck.

                            • I found a bug, not sure if this is warlords specific or also in vanilla civ. Not sure if it's already known either.

If you raze a city that is built on floodplains, then that floodplains turns into ordinary desert. Stil irrigated desert, but no more floodplains.

                              • That's a bug with the "Raze City" mod because razing a city is not "supported" in either regular Civ.
