            Yeah, Civ 4 should have been shipped with an 8-bit sprite-based 32-by-32pixel tile interface, so that people who want turns to progress at a reasonable rate can run it.

                              It's probably explained by the fact that I never played the PC version of Civ. I had it on my Amiga.

                              • Well, I had a Beta version of Civ 1 on a huge mechanical abacus, and you had to crank the wheel with your arms for an hour before your next turn came up.
                                Wonder movies weren't that great, though.
