You might want to be careful about that. A former high ranking Republican Party official in Chicago married a nice Filipina girl but when she caught him cheating on her with two prostitutes she beat the crap out of him, breaking (among other things) a guitar over the back of his head, and then tried to run him over with the family car.

Personally, I'm on the lady's side because the cheating bastard deserved it. Besides the mental picture of a 5'3" woman beating the crap out of a full grown man is just to good.

Got rained out of the cement pour when it poured rain instead. The guys have some other stuff they can do for a little while and then Sho will consider whether they can pour after lunch depending on the weather.

Zkrib, all the wood from my place is in the structure and I need some for a small project at my place this Saturday...a planned day off at the site. So I'd like to grab maybe a dozen from the stack of green stuff Sho ordered, your stuff. That Ok?

We're going to build a small 4'x4' structure around the hole for the spiral staircase so the rain won't pour down into the kitchen. Also on Saturday we're going to cut bamboo for a fence to make good nieghbors at Sho's place and tear down the small salacot and cut it up for firewood for Sho. Then clean up the mess all around and have a party after.

Believe it or not that's 90% of the world including eastern Europe; specifically the Balkans also have construction quality like this. The good news is if you put some cement on the outside to smooth out the finish you can then put decorative brick on the outside or stucco it and it should look nice. I'd be a little worried in an earthquake but I imagine the main support beams are steel rebar covered with concrete so as long as they used the correct quality of concrete then it should be reasonably secure.
