for the ctw options do you mean just who to choose?

AoK, EE, and RoN are very similar games. I know they have differences and can play differently but for the most part if you've played one you can play the others (not that you'd do well but you'd understand the concepts).

You could play the others, yes, through undestanding concepts, but that's because their the same genre. I know some AOE2 players who got EE, were happy at how similar it seemed to AoE2, got online, and were crushed. The strategy in EE is absolutely different.

Any word on a UK release date for the expansion?

Am having trouble finding where it was mentioned now, but somewhere along the way in getting the trial, I saw a note that it was expected that a European release would be around 2 weeks to a month later.

NZ/Oz release is 23rd - 25th May, so you should get it earlier than that.

I got two error messages while installing:

1. Retcode Positive 32769

2. invalid patch file error

TP then continues to install. I can play it, but in my first game the Americans are all buggered up. They get a free level of Science tech and they cannot build granaries or lumber mills. What a mess.
