I've also recently mentioned I'm getting it for Christmas.
It pays to pay attention.

Btw finished it yesterday and replaying now on veteran. Between 2 playthroughs and spec-ops I'll get 15+ hours out of the SP which isn't bad. Final verdict on the SP is that it's great fun action wise even if the story is pants.
Will play more MP later.

Says the man who hasn't completed any of CoD2, CoD3 and CoD4 on veteran. No doubt you only did WaW because you could play it co-op and leech off of other players' skill.

Spec ops co-op mode in splitscreen is a damn fine addition to the game. Theres a variety of set piece scripted missions to play, including things I haven't done in a game before, like provide covering fire from a helicopter or gunship while the other player runs along the ground to get to the extraction point. Theres also some very hardcore gamer style challenges in there as well.Safer worlds through superior firepower

I think if you look at the timing of the achievements, it'll be obvious.
As for CoD2/3/4, I didn't play them on veteran. I won't play 6 on veteran either. It's not enjoyable.
After trying one game on it, I've decided the people who play these games regularly on Veterans are compensating for something, or lack enough video games to play.
CoD3 and WaW are inferior games."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

I knew it would mortally wound you, given how seriously you take your image as a competent video game player in my eyes."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

WaW was pretty weak as far as sequels go. It was little more than CoD4 with some WWII window dressing. Not a whole lot in terms of new ideas, just lower replacing choppers with dogs.
I'm liking the new stuff in multiplayer. Deathstreaks are a nice reminder of how much I'm sucking, while the variety of killstreaks are fun to explore. The air dropped packages do a handy job of forcing campers out of hiding holes.
I just unlocked the Bling perk last night, and that is a **** ton of fun. A silenced light machine gun with a heartbeat sensor is tons of fun.John Brown did nothing wrong.

I'm enjoying it too - started playing yesterday. The maps are tricky as they are large and complex, with lots of hiding spots, and there's 16 of them to learn. But it's great fun and I'm starting to get more kills.
I quite fancy one of them heartbeat monitors too. Not sure how many people use the countering cold blooded perk but I haven't seen many. And with the maps being so intricate any way of locating people helps I think.
