The 360 is in its 2nd straight month of outselling the PS3 in Japan now as well.

In North America, the PS3 would have to outsell 360 by an average 200,000 a month for 28 months to overtake it (early 2011).

Given that the prospects of that happening are slim...even if it does happen, 2011 is "next-gen" territory.

I don't see the PS3 gaining ground. LBP is a good first step but MS really seem to have beaten Sony in the exclusives game overall.

The 360 game library is varied and vibrant, and with the console being so cheap now I just don't see it losing ground.

In other news, World of Goo is now the highest rated Wii game on Metacritic. with only 5 reviews, so it will drop. but still...

Wasn't busy this weekend at all so played through the first disk. It's pretty good - combat is fun, the story is good, and the characters are interesting.

Yeah, I'm not as far along as you, but I like it so far. Its a fairly typical jrpg, but has pretty good production values. I'm not sure which of the mistwalker games I like more yet-this or blue dragon.

I got to the third disc of Lost Odyssey, but a power failure caused me to lose about 30 minutes or so of progress. I got discouraged at the thought of having to repeat that tedious part, plus haven't had much time for video games in general, but I'm hoping to finish it eventually.

Voice acting is weak in some areas, as are a few characters, but overall I agree, it's a good JRPG.
