Match 3: Round 2


There was a fight in the bar before the conclusion of match 3. With the help of a couple of dozen drinks and the boredom of a bye match, Ludd decided it was time to exact revenge on Grumpius Trollium for the helicopter incident. Grumpius was at a table with Spacius and Felchum bragging about his recent losses, when Ludd walked up, grabbed the table and through it into the ring and said: "Your next Grandpa!". Grumpius didn't have his staff, so he grabbed the chair he was sitting in and pointed the legs at Ludd. "Saty bcak !" he slurred. Ludd did no such thing and charged at Grumpius. He impacted Grumpius chair breaking off the legs and knocking Grumpius over. Ludd grabbed Grumpius and lifted him over his head and through him into the ring. Grumpius got up and tried to get out of the ring, but a crowd of spectators had gathered around the ring and wouldn't let him leave. Ludd cornered Grumpius and grabbed him by the throat. "Push me out of the helicopter will you?" he said. Ludd, with the struggling Grumpius, walked out of the ring (the crowd parted immediately) towards the edge of the helipad. "Now it's my turn to throw you out" One of the spectators lifted the outer flap of the tent to let the pair
through. Now Ludd stood at the edge of the helipad with the ocean 1000 feat below him. "Have a nice swim" he said. Just
then there were two gun shots from above and to darts hit Ludd in the back. The rhino tranquilizer knocked Ludd out within
seconds and he fell backwards onto the helipad, releasing Grumpius. Grumpius gasped for breath and then declared victory over the behemoth.

[b]The Doctor vs. Theben[/b]

The Doctor was losing, something he was unaccustomed to. He told himself he would not make any mistakes this round. The Doctor pranced around THeben waiting for an attack that did not come.([b]1:Miss![/b]) Theben was sure The Doctor would attack and prepared himself for the onslaught, but he did nothing.([b]1:Miss![/b]) Then The Doctor ran forward and stabbed Theben in the lower body! ([b]2:Hit!(28)[/b]) Theben struck back and made contact with flesh! ([b]2:Hit!(25)[/b]) THe Doctor thought he was ahead and didn't strike again,([b]3:Miss![/b]) and parried away another strike by Theben.([b]3:Miss![/b]) When the results were announced, The Doctor left the arena angry at the world.

THe crowd was angry too, and threw more bottles into the ring.

"Okay, thats not necessary, there are still two more fights!" The announcer announced.

[b]Grumpius Trollium II vs. Felchum[/b]

Grumpius fought with renewed confidence after his victory over Ludd last night. His mace made contact with Felchum's armor on the first swing.([b]1:Hit!(4)[/b]) Felchum managed to jab Grumpius in the chest with his saber, and only just missed his heart.([b]1:Hit!(28)[/b]) Grumpius then kicked Felchum in the side, leaving a nasty welt. ([b]2:Hit!(8)[/b]) Felchum could not manage a counterattack,([b]2:Miss![/b]) and Grumpius struck again, hitting Felchum in the helmet with his mace.([b]3:Hit!(13)[/b]) Felchum was disoriented, he struck mightily with his sword but was standing ten feet away from Grumpius. ([b]3:Miss![/b])

[b]Grumpius Trollium II: 72 HP  Felchum: 57 HP[/b]

"Next up...Snoopy and Spacius!"

[b]Snoopy vs. Spacius Maximus[/b]

Both gladiators were weary, a KO seemed inevitable. Snoopy attacked first but Spacius blocked the blow with his shield.([b]1:Miss![/b]) Spacius first attack also fell short, missing Snoopy's head by inches.([b]1:Miss![/b]) Snoopy, with lightening speed, stabbed Spacius in the leg! ([b]2:Hit!(15)[/b]) But the dagger got stuck and as Snoopy tried to rip it out Spacius' sword came down on his head! ([b]2:Hit!(28)[/b]) Snoopy fell to the ground, ripping the dagger out in the process, ([b]3:Hit!(5)[/b]) and whimpered like a beaten dog. Spacius pitied his foe and decided not to finish him off.([b]3:Miss![/b])

Alas you were lucky - I picked your orders perfectly but got the 1/3 chance of the double clash.

But the scene is set for my revenge at the business end of the tournament, should you survive that long.

I should have gone with my original orders, and moved my defensive points from round 2 (and 1-2 offensive points) to power, and I'm pretty sure, that I would have knocked you out.
