The T-51b Power Armor looks like a great armor, but can easily be missed if you're not careful
Spoiler:
There's a simple mission in this game to take out four people, then deliver the keys from their dead cold hands to your employer. If you do that you might not ever see this nice armor

Heh. I had that happen once. I'm very careful not to fight around wrecked vehicles. Not only do I have to not hit them myself, they are often hit by enemy fire.
But does the nukes in the game not explode? There's a place with a storage room full of nukes, but it doesn't seem possible to make them explodeThis space is empty... or is it?

Personally, my favorite armor is the Ranger Combat Armor. It's 39 DR fully repaired (I think that T51b is 48), doesn't make you run slower (powered armor is like heavy armor in Oblivion), gives you +5 action points, +10 Small Guns skill, and +1 to Agility (I think it is agility anyway), doesn't require special training to wear, and can be repaired using any of the plentiful suits of Combat Armor in the game. I've had problems keeping regular power armor up to full repair level because only certain areas have foes that wear it.Age and treachery will defeat youth and skill every time.

Am I the only one incapable of being evil in Fallout 3?
Occasionally I can suffer through an "evil playthrough" of games just once, but every one of my "well, I'll sort of play evil" character turns into a Very Good character.
I guess its part of the setting. It's easier to be Generally Well off Sentient In The Old Republic than a literal kid that has nothing. Almost everyone in Fallout 3 is pretty much on their last legs, and it's way harder for me to be a ******* to them because of it.Last edited by EternalSpark; November 13, 2008, 02:35.

Just started the game - and i didnt expect it to be so funny. GEEK and GOAT made my day last night... I have to remember to get hold of a radio station before (and right after) the nuclear holocaust, so i can name myself president, and send inspiring message from my brain straight to people´s hearts...

I think I've gotten to a part of the game where I'm basically screwed.
Spoiler:I'm at level 20 now, which means no more levels.
My Lockpick skill is at 73%. This is too low to get into the front part of Rivet City. But I need to do this to finish two quests: the Replicated Man and the Wasteland Survival Guide for Moira.
Am I completely screwed now? Is there another way to get in apart from Lockpicking that door?Last edited by Alinestra Covelia; November 13, 2008, 11:19."lol internet" ~ AAHZ

The funniest thing I've found in the game so far involves the quest The Nuka-Cola Challenge:
Spoiler:After talking to Sierra and agreeing to collect the 30 Quantums for her, Ronald asks you to do the same and give them to him instead. The reason is that he has the hots for Sierra and expects that he'll be able to "plow her bean field" (his words) after he gives them to her. When you go back to hand them in, you can tell her about him. At first, she's clueless, thinking he's just looking out for her again by asking you to get Quantum. Then you can tell her "I think he just wants to get into your pants", and she responds "That's silly. Why would he want to wear these filthy old girl pants?" She's STILL clueless!
Also, if you play female and have the Black Widow perk, you can respond to Ronald's initial request with "Get me some Quantum and we'll make it a threesome"; he promptly agrees, runs off to the bottling plant, and gets killed.Last edited by Quillan; November 13, 2008, 10:19.Age and treachery will defeat youth and skill every time.
