It's a difficult skill, and I agree that if you want to bash someone it's always easier to pick out something you can quickly falsify.

Odd though that when you are caught out in factual inaccuracies you are the first to argue that your point remains true regardless.

    • I thought he was being intentionally funny by being wrong in that post.

      • Sometimes the best information is disinformation.

What games did they develop? Everybody knows Flight Sim, which is not much of a game, but anything for the console?
          John Brown did nothing wrong.

Have you ever heard of Halo?

            Forza Motorsport?

For the PC, they owned Ensemble Studio which made games like Age of Empires...

I've heard of Bungie, and Ensemble, and I know BHG did the latest Age of Empires expansion. Forza didn't interest me, but I've heard of it.

I was thinking in-house game development, by Microsoft. Like how they make Office and Windows.

It was in-house. They wholly owned Bungie, Turn 10, and Ensemble.

But instead of being called "Windows Division", they were called "Bungie". That's how they work.

                          • Halo was the FPS incarnation of Fusion Frenzy. Shallow and repetitive gameplay, cliché story and no innovation save for the outstretched outdoor locations

                            Every true FPS-partisan knows this.

                            • If by FPS-partisan, you mean PC-partisan, then it makes sense.

Then sacked them. A profitable studio. But they didn't fit in with MS games divisions future plans or something according to the head of Ensemble. I posted something about it somewhere....I think in this forum?

Anyway it doesn't matter. PC gaming is still doomed.....
