You made a stupid assumption that I don't say nice things about a game because it wasn't on consoles. I play more PC games than you, I assure you...and the fact that it's on consoles now doesn't make it better. Just means it might sell. I've also got more invested in PC gaming than you, which means I may be pickier than you. That explains why you enjoy playing $1 games from 1990 and I played those $1 games in 1990.

Any good? I saw they were releasing a new addition that improved things. I was thinking of getting it, but might wait for the 360 version...

      • I didn't like it, but when I played it it was a buggy mess that crashed to desktop every 10 minutes. Some quests couldn't ever be completed as well.

        • The game was notoriously buggy, but the revamped version they have recently released got pretty good reviews. I certainly plan to play it when I get chance, and I'm pretty picky.

          • I bought it about a year ago, but have been waiting for the patch to play. Next on my list after I finish fallout.
We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.

            • I played it when it came out, and did not have any serious bug problems (played extensively both on my older AMD X2 desktop, and my GF's MBP in XP). It was a lot of fun, quite a different RPG but enough traditional elements to be easily playable (familiar). The setting is incredible.

I'm fairly sure the folks at CD Projekt inserted an Asher-sensing procedure to cause random CTDs just to annoy him. Either that or they had an anti-Russian Gay Porn mechanism...

You have more expensive hardware, so you are pickier about software? More Asher logic, I'm just not clever enough to make sense of. I paid $30 for a game from 2005, my friend. I play older games in genres I'm not as keen on.

If and when I play the Witcher, it will not be because I'm not picky, but because I've read people say very positive things about it.

When is the last time you said something nice about a PC exclusive that wasn't an MMORPG or a TBS?

That was my impression, but as I know nothing about gaming, it is probably sheer luck that I received that impression.
