My copy should get here in a few days. People are reporting that the Xbox version has long loading times, so I'm glad I ordered the PS3 version where the install gets rid of that problem, as that bothers me more than anything else (and the possibility of RROD).
And Wiggy shouldn't rag on Halo 3 that much. The multiplayer is OK (although I'm not much good at it), but the campaign is quite good on Legendary difficulty (anything less than that is rather lame - on legendary you actually have to think about what you're doing).

I won't get GTA either (among other things, no x360...
) I probably would enjoy the concept of the game, but I don't particularly identify with the whole gang lifestyle thing
Maybe they can make Oblivion meets GTA someday...

You'd be amazed at how people complain about 1-2 second load times... makes you wonder how they handled games in the mid 1990s where load times of 15 to 20 seconds were not uncommon for some games (like RPGs).<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

They're load times 1-2 longer (eg, 25 seconds vs 26/27 seconds).
The HDD install on the PS3 isn't to decrease load times (though it helps marginally), it's to overcome Bluray's speed limitations which are much slower than a 12x DVD like on the 360.

I'm not too fond of the camera while driving, it really throws me off. I'd rather it be looking the direction I'm going at all times unless I direct. Making a turn can be a bit rough on me thus far.
I also wish he would run a bit faster. tapping sprint is annoying.Comment

The game looks **** on both consoles.
Looks like Kingpin.
The PS3 has terrible resolution, but the 360 can't get rid of the jaggy's either, just look at the neon lights at the back wall. At least the PS3's ****ty blurriness (which I have noticed almost all PS's have suffered with) is covering the jaggies.
When/If the PC version comes out, it will obviously be sharper than what you see here.
I was playing Creed (game sucks btw) lastnight and I noticed how much sharper it is compared to the console version.
