I know it;s not out yet but is it good? I don't own consoles but I don't see how it can be worth my three fifty.

If it is anything like the other games in the series then screw it, those games were good but got old. Like call of duty. Like halo. Like all the unoriginal date movies that girls fawn over and men go to to get serviced. I'm just tired of the cycle, and this game is supposed to be the Day-Nu-Mont (approximate spelling) of the 360 so for me, it's put up or shut up for this generation of consoles.

Considering the investment Microsoft has made in GTA4 (the exclusive downloadable content is supposed to be HUGE) I don't see Playstation beating it, sales-wise.

I think GTA is a bit over-rated (shock - gasp, I know), but I'll keep an eye out about GTA4 in case it's actually good.

Sony has thrown around a lifespan of a decade for the PS3. I imagine it'll be closer to 3-5 years or so for both consoles, before the next gen.

These are UK numbers, the 360 will outselling the PS3 dramatically in North America (and probably in the UK overall).

The Xbox 360 version is a lock to be the technically best version. The whole reason the game was delayed was to try to get the PS3 version closer to the 360 in performance/visuals.

And apparently the PS3 is going to require another 20 minute, 4-5GB install before playing again. Anything to help keep it to the 360...

Decade seems right. Hell, the PS2 is still going now.

By lifespan they mean how many years it'll be produced, not how many years it'll be top dog in the Sony stables.

OR DOES ALL DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT REQUIRE A HARD DRIVE EVEN IF ITS LIKE A PATCH OR SOMETHING LESS THAN 250 MB
