AFAIK JRPGs have always sold well on GBA/DS. They also always sell well on game consoles. The problem is the PS3 hasn't seen them released there yet for a variety of reasons."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

His question as to why Wii Fit dominates the Japanese charts, followed by a bunch of DS games.

Because Japan is largely Xenophobic to American companies
Because the DS and Wii are cheap and the PS3 is not
Because DS games are cheap as well
Because the cutesy style of games the Japanese public seem to love translate well with the DS"The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

Because it's a hugely overrated game, and not as cheap as the DS games. Not to mention the availability/cost advantage of the DS over other consoles."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

Wii Fit is new and is thus selling higher than SMG, which is old.
I'm not going to explain the very basics of this to you, try your friends at QuarterToThree -- they can tell you why new games sell more than old games at their debut."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

[WII] Wii Fit (Nintendo) - 150,000 / 411,000

03. [NDS] Tales of Innocence (Bandai-Namco) - 104,000 / NEW
04. [PSP] Hot Shots Golf Portable 2 (Sony) - 87,000 / NEW
05. [NDS] Prof. Layton and Pandora's Box (Level 5) - 76,000 / 370,000

Pardon, I thought the second number was cumulative sales, in which Wii Fit seems to have already almost caught up to SMG."A person cannot approach the divine by reaching beyond the human. To become human, is what this individual person, has been created for.” Martin Buber

In other news: Nintendo says Wii sells so much they have pulled the ads for it and replaced them with DS ads. Now, I know Asher will use this as another proof of Nintendo's ev0l planz, but still.
