My understanding is I'm ok because the 360 Les Paul does work with RB (though not vice versa). Also the GH:WT and RB2 equipment is reportedly compatible.

Personally I'd wait and see what equipment from 'first gen' games is compatible with the upcoming GH4 and RB2.

Hey that's odd. I thought the makers of GH were "bought out" by the company that owns RB. I knew about RB2, but I didn't realize there was going to be a GH4 as well.

I don't think I like GH as much as I like RB. It might be best to just stick with RB2.

Unless they suddenly decide to include some Queen songs on GH4. Then I'd really have to reconsider.

Leaked potential setlists are already out there for both games.

And GH4 is not like GH3 - it has drums and vocals like RB. Competition is good.

I sent a set of defective drum pads back under warranty, July 21. They went back to EA on July 23.

On July 26 they sent me an email saying they haven't received it, and they will continue to hold the replacement amount on my credit card.

I've sent them a few emails and the Indian-sounding tech support guy has basically been copy pasting bits of the warranty to me.


This could turn out interesting and unpleasant.

No, it was general advice.

But lots and lots of people have reported problems with RB equipment. Check any RB forum.

The defective equipment is not my problem. EA sent a replacement and asked me to send back the defective stuff.

My problem is that I did send it back, and UPS has confirmed it got there. But EA still emailed me afterwards saying they may have to call the pre-approved amount on my credit card.
