While working on Civ2, Civ3 and a little of Civ4 was a hobby in my spare time (Civ2 of which led me into designing games for a living), I am currently working on Singapore-based games (coz thats where I live! but i'm pure kiwi mind you.) I am currently working on two of my favourite types of games, Adventure and TBS. I don't want to say anything about it in case it slaps me in the face somewhere down the line. But one thing I have learned from building these two types of games is that 1. Adventure games are graphic intensive and TBS is logic intensive; great for headaches.

I've probably had more real life gaming experience just because I interviewed with Silicon Knights (and subsequently found out they pay for **** and make you work in St. Catherines, Ontario). And that's not saying much of anything.
Art is not connected to gameplay either, but snoopy discusses it. He doesn't understand logic or business, which puts him at a distinct disadvantage in these discussions I'm afraid.Which, if true, is a business strategy and not necessarily connected to art or coding.
