As I hear, the fires of Anet aren't such a bad place to be.

And NWN is always installed on my machine. And the space for NWN2 is already reserved.

The first NWN never really impressed me. The single player game was bad, and multiplayer...meh. Any game that relies on large numbers of people not behaving like idiots is going to fail to catch me

Then you'd better don't try any MMOG, ever.

DrSpike isn't an idiot, he's just a bit ... different.

I was just looking over the previews of the NWN2 collectors edn and I can't seem to find any matching claims about the contents.
Are these different for every country/retailer or are people just getting it wrong?
If it does include the NWN diamond edition (as one review claimed) I'm rather keen on picking it up as it'd only another $10 or so and I don't have any of the premium modules as yet.
Plus I always liked the cloth map that came with Ultima5 ...

So you don't play multiplayer games?

Wow. Played a little NWN last night. It looks a bit dated but the gameplay was still quite good. I am still trying to decide what user created module to play. Any suggestions? The diablo mod looks like it could be a possiblity for some hack n' slash. But I would also like a good roleplay module.

Also, what persistant worlds are good?

Should I play NWN or the Nightfall preview tonight?

SirOsis, try playing the Darkness over Daggerfall mod.

Have you got the latest patches and the CEP? You'll need the CEP to play most decent modules.

I got about 1/3 through the first chapter of the mod I was designing for NWN. Then GW took me away from it. Perhaps when I get NWN2 and it is fully supported, I'll try transfering the mod over to it.

Understandable. You shall live, unlike some of the heathens above.

No, not unless it is with a group of people I know.

I finished Daggerford (that was fun) and now I'm finally getting around to playing SoU/HoTU. The world map is definitely missed. Re-starting at Hilltop every time I use that teleportation ring is painful. I'm not missing an easy way back to where I was, am I?

Couldn't that female Harper scout (forgot the name) port you back? Or could she only heal you, I'm unsure... I never used this feature actually. Most maps and dungeons are doable in a single run.

I wanted to go back to Hilltop to buy some stuff and dump some equipment. The Harper chick won't even heal me because she's busy casting spells on Drogan.

You have to do her quest to retrieve herbs from Hilltop before she's willing to lend you more time. Ask her what you can do to help Drogan, and she'll eventually send you to the herbalist.
