    Daggerford question:

    Spoiler:
When I was finishing off the Black Dragon in the well, it seemed like the dragon tried to stop the battle and talk to me toward the end. But the dialogue box closed before I had a chance to do anything and I killed him. Did I miss out on something?

      Stuie: Not really.

      ACK!

I figured as much, but wanted to be certain - thanks! While DoD is pretty good (and I love the world map ), there are still some glitches with dialogue skipping and such. Plus I've had a couple CTDs... but then again, that seems par for the course with NWN.

Anyway, I'm having fun romping around Daggerford.

Haven't heard any news on NWN2. I hope they haven't killed it.

No they haven't. Amazon still says pre-orders will be honoured in October.

              That seems unlikely.

As of Monday, they were still claiming an October release:

Neverwinter Nights 2 is scheduled for release in October 2006.

I'll believe it when it's on my mat and not before.

And I'll believe it when it's properly patched.

Wouldn't in your CD drive be a better place to start?

                      Amazon still says October 20th.

Patched doesn't seem like it will be something that will happen to this thing.

It'll hit my mat before it goes in my cd drive.

4players (German) says Oct 20th too. Also, Atari announced, that 2 Limited Editions will be released. Who would have expected anything less from Infogreed?!

One, called "Lawful Good", will contain a ring with blue ornaments, an Eldritch Giant and 10 characters of the good side.

The other, called "Chaotic Evil" (or Spikean, by definition), will contain a ring with red ornaments, a Mountain Troll and 10 characters of the evil side.

Both editions have different books and start screens. Part of both is the skill "Blessed of Waukeen", which improves saving throws, gives access to special weapons and armor and a magical golden aura. It also contains the complete NWN1 with all expansions, a music DVD and a 42cmx30cm map.

I'm surprised they didn't go with a True Neutral LE while they were at it.

Well, you don't have to buy them.

Still, that blessed skill better suck or else.
