It is slower paced.. they have changed the pace numerous times (I have heard when it came out it was more like FPS in space). You don't need to mine to be rich, level 3 and level 4 missions make money just fine.

You can basically do whatever you want to do where, when, why and how you want to do it.

Thats the beauty of this game IMHO anyway.

I Agree.. we are talking, however, about what we do. So while I have freinds who mine, I don't do that.

I do missions. I have other freinds who Rat.. etc.

I Also do research, although I haven't gotten a BPO yet (a freind who had less RP than I got a BPO and is now a Billionaire). I would like to get into industry (not heavy, but just stuff like running my own ammo...)

If you find being poor fun, by all means do that. Others can have fun running missions, ratting, trading, building, running stations... and making money doing so.

While civilization 4 is working flawlessly, I want to know if Eve Online, will be working on my laptop? (I need to know, before buying this games)
