Courier is really the only thing you can do afk. That is, if you plan on almost always surviving and making some isk. Mining means you need a bot if you plan to be afk. Still, no-one is forcing you to do courier missions. If you have ADD, blow things up by ratting or running kill missions. Or fly through 0.0.I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Then you can save all the excitement for the important things, like trying to not ****ing die to a gatecamp, or hunting/being hunted in 0.

akf - away from keyboard
bot - robot
ADD - Attention Deficit Disorder (no patience, needs contiual entertainment)
0.0 - See below
isk - monetary unit
grind - doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over etc
Fortunately for the carebears, you don't need to go through low-sec much or at all, so you can play the game where you won't get killed much at all. Fortunately for those willing to risk, the rewards in low-sec are much higher.I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

if you are couriering through low sec space you can reduce the danger to virtually nil by pre creating a series of bookmarks called instas. It takes some practice but i can make my insta jumps on the fly now using my interceptor. Making instas is a useful trick and well worth learning how to do
the bookmarks stay in your folder so once you have created them once you get to keep them. if you are couring out of an agent they like to send you to the same kind of places so its worth having the instas for your favorite areaSafer worlds through superior firepower

Speaking of which Snotty, is there a limit on the number of bookmarks you can have in one folder? Rather than sorting by region, I was thinking of shoving the entire lot in an "Instas" folder and sorting them by number of jumps away - that way instas for the system I am in would be at the top.I'm building a wagon! Ive not found a limit. maybe the screen loads to slowly if you have to many
I sort by region like you say but also I set my autopilot before I leave and when i jump into a new system i check where the auto pilot says is the next system, right click in space and can jump to my insta to the next gate using that menu.
thats the best way ive found to use my overview, I click at the top of the distance column in the overview.
I enable stargates in the overview when making my instas. I found it easiest to makes instas in a shuttleSafer worlds through superior firepower

Sounds like the quantity and quality of missions have improved since launch, it was unbearably tedious back then.To doubt everything or to believe everything are two equally convenient solutions; both dispense with the necessity of reflection.

Been playing for about a month, I'm in The Dead Parrot Shoppe Corp. There is a couple of CIV addicts in that corp, one of which is Fried- Psitalon who has posted here in the past but he is more of a ladder player.
Fun game/ good corp. Im not bored by mining yet, when I want to go mainly afk, I mine scordite in .9 space. When I want a thrill, I ninja mine in .4 space.
Its all about what you want in an MMO and the offline skills training is really what I like since I can't play 12 hours a day.*"Winning is still the goal, and we cannot win if we lose (gawd, that was brilliant - you can quote me on that if you want. And con - I don't want to see that in your sig."- Beta
