Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition

And that's why I've told people I know to get the PC version over the XBox (assuming their hardware is ok). XBox users will never get to enjoy all these mods.
Oh, and even in the mod forums, people can be *******s . In the BTMod (an essential mod, IMO) thread, someone started yelling at Beider (the 'B' part of the equation) because the readme was not up to date and thus something he said would work did not, and he was told to read the thread(s) because it had been discussed before. Of course this was a totally FREE mod that these guys spent a lot of time on.
I mean, jeez, people act like they are owed!

There are rumors that eventually these mods will be made available as content downloads on XBL.

For $2.50 a piece probably.
No, the official mods are for a price -- just like they are on the PC as well.
That still sucks. The "best" mods is subjective, anyway.
Perhaps, I still have yet to see a mod that I would use. The only mods, actually, I would use are the ones that tweak the interface making it more PC-friendly, which is useless on the Xbox.
The mods like drinking effects are, quite frankly, worthless. Reminds me of when Blizzard added drunken effects to WoW and everyone was drunk for a day and then nobody played with them since. Gimicky.
Despite Oblivion only running on the lowest settings on my PC, I'd never take the 360 version over what I have here.
That's because you don't have a 360. Make it harder to play 360 games without one, I've found.
I've got both the PC version and the 360 version, and I vastly prefer the 360 version. Perhaps that will change in the longrun with any substantive mods, but so far I haven't seen any. And somehow I'm thinking the substantive mods would be posted XBL as free downloads just as they are on the PC -- why not?

For the most part I AM joking about them charging for user mods ported to the X-Box.
However I wouldn't put it past them entirely. Also I highly doubt that if Oblivion came out solely on the PC that Bethesda would be charging for the horse armor mod and other mods they have in the works. To me it is almost as if they think that X-Box 360 owners are made of money or foolish enough to part with it. It is an expensive console, the game costs $10 more then the PC version then they decide to gouge them even more with these 'mods'.
Perhaps I'm wrong - I guess we'll never really know but I honestly believe Bethesda wouldn't be charging for their little mods if the X-BOX 360 wasn't a factor.
I remember all the free plug-ins they had when Morrowind came out.
What I would like to see is an application, where I can open it before entering the game, and just select (checkboxes) what mods I want to run.
There are so any mods out there, I'm worried I might overwrite an earlier mod with a newer one or some mods might conflict with each other. I'm not sure exactly how mods work.. someone enlighten me?
