I'm just agreeing with you that HC should be laughed at because he wasn't even born yet when Duke Nukem I came out and he was only 3 when the famous Duke Nukem 3D came out.“As a lifelong member of the Columbia Business School community, I adhere to the principles of truth, integrity, and respect. I will not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do.”
"Capitalism ho!"

Huh? I was pointing out the humor in HC getting so excited when the game is older than he is.
He was a toddler when Duke Nukem Forever was announced."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi
"I have nothing against Wilson, but he's nowhere near the same calibre of QB as Flutie. Flutie threw for 5k+ yards in the CFL." -Ben Kenobi

I know you're trying to be an ******* but actually, that's kind of true. Due to technological advancement, video games typically do not have long lives. How often do people play video games from the early 90's today? I mean really? Why would you? Only for nostalgic reasons, something which wouldn't exist if the game was out when you were 3.
I'd say the statement no one plays games that came out when they were 3 is actually a generally accurate statement."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi

In any case, while your statement is probably true (I mean, how many games were released in 1987? Also, anyone over 40 is pretty much screwed), and while most 'gamers' (including casual gamers) don't play old games, the general idea that no one plays old games is ridiculous. If you target only people who play strategy games, for example, there's a very large amount who still play old games... Hell, I myself only played a lot of old games relatively recently, such as the classic Fallout games and Master of Magic, for example. Or, to be extreme, I played The Oregon Trail, a 1971 game, as late as 2006... That's a game made 13 years before I was even born.
If what you claimed were true, apps such as dosbox wouldn't exist, and GOG would have been out of business the moment it launched. I can agree that they are not popular, but saying that no one does is like saying that no one listens to rap.Indifference is Bliss

Did someone add ******* to the censor just now? Or I'm finally losing it?
Also, 1987 Games I played, at least, 6 of those.Indifference is Bliss

Well they put Zork on the latest Call of Duty game so anything is possible, I guess."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi
