    I almost couldn't believe it, but it says the game is still being developed. It's been 9 (NINE) years already since they started working on it. I though they had given up on it long ago.

    BTW, looking further upon it there's a pretty nice trailer on gamespot (anno 2001).

          The game is done, it's just that it won't be released because it would be the end all be all game. It's a FPS, RPG, TBS, RTS, Simulating Racing Sports game with endless replay value that is so good there is no need for multiplayer.... ever.

          It would destroy the entire industry!

            It is incredible how long this game has been worked on. It's like the game that will never die, and every year they have to rework the graphics engine (the screenshots I say in 2001 won't cut it today).

                  You know, I was just thinking about this game and reading something about it's imminent release...I am sure I was still at uni at the time

                    Personally, I don't think the game will ever see the light of day...it's release date will still be discussed come Armageddon...

                      It wouldn't suprise me if they some day come out an say that the game was never under development, the screenshots/videoes of the game are just some still pictures the art department made for fun one day

                          They say a game is most popular during the PR hype prior to release. I think they are taking it a little too far.
