This one will be at position 3, so will get more solar radiation if I choose to place solsats. It will focus on just metal and/or crystal production.

Solar sats are just begging to be crashed. As are large numbers of espionage probes on "defence".

Do you know how to make the most of destroyed planets? there are two destroyed planet/astaroid field in the galaxcy next to mine 2:130 1+2. I sent attacking fleets in the hope they might mop something up, but feel free to help yourself to them as Ic ant launch another fleet for a while.

an even bigger question is what destroyed the planets

For most game-purpuses they are still planets, meaning you can probe the asteroids and raid them. Even the defenses are still in place, so beware!

Destroyed planets are created by pressing the 'surrender planet' button. I don't think they can be destroyed by players. Moons can be destroyed by DeathStars.

If accounts are deleted, the planets just dissapear AFAIK.

I'd like to know if we will attempt to hit Droth (3:420 and 421) this weekend. If so, I should move my fleet closer to him, which will save me close to an hour flight.

I will still need 2:40 to get to him though.


It would be most usefull if the attacked (atragon IIRC) would privide us with espionage info.

Given the flight time needed, we should also be reasonably sure he will not fleetsave during the attack.

ah balls, now the dude is attacking my planet, with 106 battlehips and some bombers, this may be time to do a runner i'm not sure why he's doing it tbh, it's not as if i have any resources to speak of, but there you go.

Given the warning about him loosing 3 mill in ships, he might even has send recyclers on the way.
Is there an existing debris field around the planet that's about to be attacked?

IMO, to coordinate attacks we should use the ingame mesg-sys, as this board is easily found.
General discussions are fine, but things like time, force and actual participants should be given through the alliance msg's.

And rising! If I remember right when I joined we were #285 and that was only about 3 weeks ago.

I think that by the end of this weekend we could be in teh top 100. (and we are already in the top 100 for Fleet #'s and Research Techs)

True, but if you look at those stats per member, we have still a long way to go before we can really claim our place in space

Agreed, and that is why I have been cautious about taking on any of the larger/stronger alliances, they could quickly cut us down to size I suspect.

I am happy to continue raiding inactives with the occassional retaliation against a Droth type to keep it interesting until we have risen to a respectable level (like say when 10 of us are at the points that you and Skanky are at now). You both seem to have risen quickly on reaching 5000+ any secret to that or is it more of an exponential thing? (The stronger you are = the more you collect & spend which in turn makes you stronger yet).

Edit: By the way, I note on the "alliance" page there is an "internal" section.........could we edit this information to indicate an agreed attack time once the ingame messages have been exchanged? I think this is something that all of our alliance can access which no one else can
