I'll have 4 cruisers finished by the time I get home tonight (9 GMT say. ).
I'm still paranoid about being raided before I can blow my huge stash of deut on some tech or other.
Foolishly, I haven't sent out a fleet now, so will have no new resources when I get home. I didn't fancy spending too long on the game at work because I'm sure that if they didn't already have rules about this sort of thing, then they will soon.
Tomorrow, I think I'll plan which planet to attack while I'm having my breakfast, and then write down the co-ords and fleet numbers so I can send them easily at lunchtime! Not that I'm addicted or anything.

We just have to be careful with regards to the bashing rule.

Its annoying. Just after I ordered another 20 missile launchers and 20 small lasers to be built, my probes get destroyed. Muh. Good thing I still have a list of defenceless planets I can raid while I wait for my shipyard to work through the backlog of orders.
