    What is this game?

    what genre is it?
I am still "buying" the second game, so this might not be a perfectly accurate description of the second, but here's the idea of the first one.

You are a god, there are people who worship you, and you can either be evil to them, making them worship you due to fear, or you can be good to them, making them worship you because they like you. Your power comes directly from their prayers at your temple. You get to build their villages and stuff, and although they can farm, chop wood, etc, you can do all the stuff much faster with your giant invisible hand. Or, if you don't want to help them, you can throw them around with your giant invisible hand instead. This is highly entertaining for at least a week.

The other important component of the game is the creature, which is basically a giant intelligent animal, whom you raise and teach to do your bidding. He will try to act like you do, so he'll terrorize the villagers if you're evil, and help them out if you're good. He can sometimes be a little frustrating to teach, but sometimes he's pretty funny.

The first game suffered from bugs, a too-short SP campaign, and a fairly annoying creature AI. That's why people are wary of the second.

It's real time, but not a normal RTS game. Perhaps more like a RTSimulation.

            sounds kind of fun

I might not become obsessed with it, but it's worth downloading

              Bah. It's cartoony, and repetitive.

Is it as cartoony as Civ 4?
If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.

Did you part with your cash? Then I'm afraid I must, sir, alas.

I believe Yaguare is insinuating he has teh game and did not part with his cash.

I most certainly am not. I neither parted with my cash or have the game.

Ok, I'm lost and I have barely started the game. I'm at the beginning of the first level where you have to build a few fountains, sounds like a simple job, except I can't find the build menu anywhere. The only building I can build is the "most wanted" building. I can't find any keyboard shortcut to it on the list of keyboard shortcuts, and I've tried pressing all the keys, but nothing helps. Also on-screen I can't find anything that opens it. There's an icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen which I have no idea what's for, but pressing it does nothing

And I can't run the toturial because I get stuck at the very beginning where it tells me to press the middle mouse-button to rotate, but that does nothing, and using the keyboard to do it doesn't work in the toturial, so I can't get pass it...

Sn00py (or anyone who has the game) please help
This space is empty... or is it?

Build fountains? There is no option to build fountains...

Adagio, I never came across a map where I have to build a few fountains.. There are fountains in the game, but you should not have access to it until I think Map 3..

The build menu IS in the button bottom-left and that is where you will find your fountain.

You sure your middle mouse button is working (in other apps)? Is it a scroll button?
