im impressed by how many folks are playing 3 or 4 or more games. My time commitments, and the all devouring nature of EU2, dont allow for that.
Well, EU2 is one of those games you can just play that and that alone. Especially when you have yet to master it or play all the different types of nations in it. When I played EU2 at first I just played that for a few months mostly. I play a lot of games now but sometimes I only play 1 a day.
Harvest Moon sounds like fun - but not enough to get me to buy a Ninento thingie. I presume theres no PC port? Or anything similar on the PC?
It works good on emus but the game itself is ZZZ. Virtual farming...
And, yes I have played it.
EDIT: BTW, I am playing Planetscape: Torment too. I might make a thread on it here, but I haven't played it recently. I got to the Pharod then basically stopped. It is a really unique game, but the gameplay mostly seems like reading, walking around, and searching for NPCs. I enjoy some of the reading but most of the reading is just lengthy descriptions not actual stuff which is very interesting.

Oh, it gets to be more than reading and walking when you leave the Sigil. I wont say more, to avoid spoilering it. While I wasnt as wild about it as some, I think its a very good game (if "game" is the right word) - I think you will enjoy it. And go ahead and make a thread, there are (or were) quite a few PST fans here.
Re:Virtual farming - id rather do real vegetable gardening, but the relation of my townhouse to the sun presents issues.
EU2 - yup, ive played as Spain, am playing a totally differnt game as England, and am looking forward to playing as France, Austria, Russia, OE, .....

Lots of popular recent releases, it seems. A LOT of people seem to be playing Guild Wars.
cause all the games out now sucks. Not that Im trying to undermine guild wars... its a good game, but the real good games wont be seen until at least mid october for the hliday season.....

Well, if that's the only game that doesn't suck... then forget about gaming altogether.
C'mon there's plenty of good games 'round. Besides guildwars sucks

You still play that game??
Strange, ... I liked it very much, especially with the mods, but after a while the battles tend to repeat themselves, and the AI is so weak. Not especially on the campaign map, but rather in battles. I quit playing,... and I haven't even gotten to the Marian Reforms yet (lol).

I've spend more than my share of hours/days/months on EU2 and other Paradox titles, though my current stomping ground is Supreme Ruler 2010. Like what you say about EU2, there is so much in SR2010 that you can just keep on playing and playing and have a different experience each time - I've done less than half of all the scenarios it comes with (though, admittedly, some of the third world regions get a bit boring after you've had all the first world military toys to play with).
You gotta have an interest in playing a modern timeframe, but the combination of military / diplomacy / economics really make this a hit for me.
